Thank you for sharing one of the best Pern stories I've read since Anne McCaffrey's death (may she rest in peace). Sadly, Todd's stories, and his obsession with plagues, haven't really captivated me like the originals did.

Anyway, I found your story to be believable and quite in line with 9th Pass canon, with interesting original characters as well as well-written canon ones. I'd love to see a concluding chapter, but if this is it, I'm not disappointed.

Hmmm, it seemed from the way you wrote it to be a fairly short mating flight. Will the lack of a queen egg affect how the other Weyrleaders view a brown catching a queen? Or do you plan to throw a queen egg in there just to quiet any naysayers, lol?

You really need to continue writing when u find the time. Excellent read. You could go on for quite a while with this and make it very interesting on so many levels as these two forge ahead with their own relationship and basically build a strong community! Exciting. Thanks for continuing.

Plans must be flexible and what is done is done and won't be changed. Elanth was the best and N'kar will be a good weyrleader. Now to build on the foundation they began at Turnover and learn to love and trust each other.

No clue why the new WeyrLeader chose...that position. *bleh*

I am more than a little worried about how the end of things will effect the Clutch. After all, don't the Dragons tangle themselves together and *drop* towards the ground, for the most part? Or try to glide at best? Wouldn't that mean they actually have very little time together befre they had to break apart or they'd hit the water?
