You are an incredible writer, and you use it with such ease and grace, yet never devoid of emotion, description or tension. I like the way you've protrayed the characters. I like the way you plan and plot out your stories and I hate the way I'm always wanting more.

There's no repetition in the way you write, and it's unique. Hopefully that makes sense.

The hints of Sanzo/Hakkai irk me to high heaven but I think you'd be the sort to integrate it in a way that would make sense. Anyway, totalling faving this and stalking you. :o

Reading it again, I found that there are other lovely things I missed. Like I said before, a totally brilliant chapter.

You have a knack for putting images into your words that are just so apt ... they have always been there and you put it into words. Beautiful. I'm a total fan!

I can't wait to see more of the dark side of Hakkai. How you have written him in here is ...can't find the right word really! _. Just know that I think it's pretty damn cool. It is a facet of him that a lot of people forget exists. It is still there though..I believe anyway. As the journey progresses. I do believe our 'mild mannered doctor' is getting to be a lot less kind than he was when he first started out. Especially after the events with Hazel and Gato. His trust has been betrayed/ put to the test and he is finding keeping his cool quite a task.

Anyway I ramble...again.

Wow... just wow. What can I say? In this chapter, the prose is just gorgeously dark and brooding from Sanzo's side, with a more hopeful outlook sprinkled in when you go outside his "head" and bring in the interaction with the others.

I really, really love this so far. I have to say, this fic has me engrossed even more than "My Sun My Supernova" initially did. Great work!

Cheers so far. This looks like it's going to be a fun run. Loved My Sun My Supernova so I expect this'll be just as good, if not better. _ Can't wait for more.

'In Darkness We Drown'... as far as I can tell from the first chapter, the title is very appropriate ;-)

Very nice start, you set a very dark and brooding mood that nevertheless does not discourage even 'happy happy joy joy' readers like me from reading more!

One small thing I tripped about: "breath" is the noun, "breathe" is the verb. I saw it at least a couple of times, and thought I'd mention it.
