Brilliant story

oooh, previous chapter talked about nobility, i didn't give it much thought and went along with it, but my mind reeled back, so is this referencing to medieval europe? Since Amestris seem to be based on German, i'm guessing you're following that line of thought. It's never mentioned in canon tho, so i was a little uncomfortable, but hey! It adds layer of depth to the FMA world! Great job!

I'm used to reading Naruto fanfics, and the amounf of authors doing worldbuilding inside is crazy. Sadly not much of that is found in FMA, though that can be attributed to its linear and simple line of story (Man, this is not the first and last time i wish FMA lasted longer than it is) so seeing a little world building here is refreshing!

I find it kind of funny that in every FMA fanfic, he'll always be there to stomp dirt onto Roy's name Yess Fuery!

This is an incredible story, and in my mind it deserves to be a fanfiction for the whole world to see. I have to thank you for writing this.

How the heck I managed to forget Winry is beyond me. Actually I think a very fair blanket statement is that any and every female in this verse is a total badass one way or another.

Gotta say, I think my favorite characters in FMAB are Riza Hawkeye and Ling Yao.
Hawkeye is completely badass, the only female I can think of, whom I'd want to piss off even less is Olivier Armstrong. Put simply there is a reason why she, singlehandedly almost, is able to maintain Amestris' northern border. Actually, that's one of my greatest questions in this fic, how exactly did a war with Drachma (am I spelling that right?) even come to be? Since the implication there is that Briggs actually fell, which in all honestly seems nigh impossible. On the other hand, I think for Hawkeye to be second only to Olivier still speaks volumes of Hawkeye's strength.
As for Ling, I'm not totally sure why I find him so fascinating. It might simply be because he actually managed to strike a balance and practically coexist with Greed, despite Greed being a homonculus (again am I spelling that right?).

Seriously, Armstrong is just so... Armstrong...
It's really hard to describe him aside from exasperatedly exclaiming: It's Armstrong!? What do you expect?!
Although, like with pretty much every other character he probably also holds the Elric brothers in exceptional esteem.

Awww... such a nice ending to this superb story. I enjoyed it, and the way you wrote the Roy/Ed relationship, very much.

I've run into this story off and on in various searches for years. I've always resisted reading it, because I'm not a fan of AUs or relationships (Ed/Roy, Ed/Winry, doesn't matter). I finally decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did.

I love the way you write. Your prose is effortless, tells the story it needs to with just the right amount of details, and it draws the reader into the story completely. The plot is very unique, but what I really like is how you write Auric/Ed. It's how I imagine a grown up, mature, and self-assured Edward. I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes.
