Beautifully written! It's going onto my favorites! D
| Baby Dragon chapter 3 . 5/26/2009
That was great! I kept expecing one of the other Rangers to backhand Cederic to begin with. Poor Aragon, gives new meaning to the term pain of command.
| Mirach chapter 3 . 11/29/2008
I'm sure Cederic was among the rangers that accompanied Aragorn on the Paths of Death and fought bravely on Pallenor fields...
| szepilona10 chapter 3 . 3/31/2008
I liked it!
| Hello Anyone There chapter 3 . 12/22/2007
Oh yes, Aragorn taking anothers beating, why am I not surprised? Because he's Aragorn thats why. *g* Like this story very much indeed although the sequel always makes me cry. Sadly I now must go and read it or I cannot add it to favourites and I do love it, even though it makes me cry. That makes no sense, oh well
| Nelarun chapter 3 . 11/10/2006
Brillient! I loved it. The story line itself was a master piece.
| FireChildSlytherin5 chapter 3 . 8/6/2006
| Silver Moon chapter 3 . 5/4/2006
Awesome story...very 're great writer.
| Vamp.Michelle chapter 3 . 4/3/2006
Ah, wonderful! There's nothing like a nice flogging to end a boring day (sorry, Aragorn). Actually, I feared for a fleeting second that someone would attempt to hack off his right hand since that's the usual punishment for stealing. I'm glad you didn't take it *this* far, the other rangers would probably have screamed bloody murder! And don't ever say you're bad with torture scenes. You never were, you never will be:)
And on a little more serious note, I liked the rangers' code of honour you put in there. I like my Aragorn heroic and selfless!
| Despo chapter 3 . 3/7/2006
Oh, what a great story! I'm glad I read the story only now that it is complete, because I don't think I would have survived the cliffhanger at the end of the first chapter! Your writing is amazing and I love the image you give me of the rangers, because it's just how I always thought they should be!
| inthisdarcness chapter 3 . 2/28/2006
Hi once again! All I can say about this story is: WOW! Boy do you have a way with words! The story was awesome. I'm not an avid reader of moral stories, but that was much better than those ol' sunday school stories in church. LOL! (I hope I did not offend anyone with that comment, if I did, I apologize in advance) Anyway, the story was great.
| Laerien chapter 3 . 2/26/2006
What an idiot I am... I realised only now that the story is actually finished...
You know, I just got an alert from a C2, and I assumed that it was because you posted the first chapter... OK, so much for intelligence...
And now about the story.
I have never been whipped, so I cannot tell you whether it was Ok or not in that way, but I "enjoyed" it. I should say instead that I felt for Aragorn, and you made me cringe at times.
I liked this little story. What I needed today was such a short, a bit angsty, but otherwise nice story. So, thank you!
| Laerien chapter 1 . 2/26/2006
Hi! What do I think? That this is a VERY promising start! I can't wait for the next chapter, that's why iam writing now! Maybe even these few lines will urge you to update! :o)
What the punishment will be? Though, knowing you, I am VERY worried for Aragorn. And the poor youth. I wonder if he had any special reason for stealing those apples other than hunger. I bet he regrets his deed terribly by now. And if I am right, he will regret it even more.
I don't know how well you take critics, but I would advise one little thing. I think you could leave out the part when Aragorn notices that the pack seems fuller than before. It ruined the suspense for me, as I knew all the time what's going to happen.
If that is what you wanted, then forget what I said!
Otherwise, a very good chapter, and I hope to see an update in the next few days.
| QueenofFlarmphgal chapter 3 . 2/25/2006
Aw, what a great ending. Aragorn was so nice and trusting to Cederic, despite what he did. He's so wonderful! And he's still in all that pain too...
Fantastic story! It was a pleasure to read, truly!
