I was supposed to send you feedback on this story a while ago but didn't know if I could do it without coming across as an incoherent idiot (or a creepy stalker) so here is my attempt at an intelligent fangirl reply.

OH MY GOD, THIS WAS DARLING! I must have read this fic at least twenty times and it still makes me laugh. Right from, "You have no poetry in your soul" (I *love* that line so much). I love your Hyourinmaru, him and his "Toushirou, buddy, need I remind you this is your golden opportunity" to him to howling when Hitsugaya throw in his disclaimer. ROTFL.

Hitsugaya's disclaimer gets me every time, and Matsumoto's "Name them" and the ensuring reasons-not-to-reasons-invalidated conversation is one of my all-time favorite in fanfic. It just sparkles and hits all the right tones and notes, while acknowledging the age, rank, and childhood sweetheart thing that other fics tend to ignore.

I especially appreciate how the Hinamori issue was dealt with here, that he's not quite over her and that Matsumoto would be the one to kick Hitsugaya in the ass if he wasn't there for her :) And much love to the fiasco with Abarai and co. in the changeroom, and Hitsugaya's reaction to Matsumoto's legs (cracks me up *every time*). I love your Hitsugaya. He's such an adorable darling, and 100% in-character.

I could go on for a long time about everything I like about this fic. It's absolutely wonderful, and had me grinning and wanting to dance when it was over. Thanks a lot for writing it!

Hahaha. This is so funny. Definitely one of the better HitsuMatsus I've read. You bring in just the right amount of certain things - like Hitsugaya's relationship with Hinamori. You acknowledge that it's important, but that neither is IN love with the other, and move on to the main focus again. Hurrah! And holy crap, Hyourinmaru was too great. The way you wrote him, he was a good match for Hitsugaya in the way that he kept things light, but had a serious side and a sharp tongue. Your Hitsugaya also had a sharp tongue for certain, and I love seeing that. And how you had him be clearly susceptible to Matsumoto's legs was cute. It might sound weird, but it was seriously cute because it showed that he IS a guy. I could just see him reacting like a total dope, standing there like it was the first time he saw a pair of legs. Haha. Cute. And well - the ending! So great! Matsumoto's daring attitude in reaction to Hitsugaya's defense? Awesome. It didn't rush them into anything like most other HitsuMatsus do, but it did toss the readers a bone by confirming a future there. And the waiting even reinforced their feelings! It was just too sweet. Obviously, I enjoyed this a bunch. I hope you write some other pieces!

this fic is genius!Hyourinmaru reminds me of that dragon in mulan..i'm sorry for the comparison but i do think he's a very comedic dragon in this story and i found myself imagining future bleach episodes with talking zanpakutos..
