The poem "Love You, Leave You" really flips the abandonment issue as Gia says her last good-bye to Linda. Even more gut-wrenching is that for every patient who is decimated by end-stage AIDS and is lucky to have loving family members around, there are at least five end-stage AIDS patients who end up dying bitter and bereft. The most chilling description is of all the things Gia and Linda might have planned to do as lovers before Gia got sick will never come to fruition now and maybe not in the next world if there is one. Awesome poem, L'Amazon Morte!

Wow! It really captures the heart of Gia from the movie. I suppose this is what she wrote in her journal for Linda? Anyways, I was extremely impressed. It's very touching.

| Ladywilde chapter 1 . 10/5/2006
This sounds like how I would imagine Gia would feel...
| homeric chapter 1 . 7/31/2006
Well written - I can imagine Gia writing something that raw. Nice job.
| LL chapter 1 . 7/27/2006
I think you've really got Gia's character here. If she had written Linda a goodbye letter, I think this is just what she would have said.
That was a great movie, wasn't it? And Angelina was so good in it!
