| White Wyrsa chapter 1 . 11/25/2013
)) You'll need something more to spoil Dean's appetite.

this was a cute story.
| zekeschance chapter 1 . 1/6/2013
This was just perfect. The right amount of a snarky Dean, deep Sam and then the sick Sam. Glad Sam realized what Dean was trying to tell him. Those people were just crazy.

I actually loved how Kripke and the gang wrote 'Family Remains' because they wanted to have a show about a screwed up family. I watched the episode and thought, "Man, that still has nothing on 'the Benders'." I mean, that was one effed up family, you know? I LOVED that episode and this tag was pretty great. I loved that Sam threw up, thinking about how he almost 'ate' Jenkins - great visual by the way - and how on his way out, Dean had to steal a sausage.
| ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 9/14/2009
OMG the thought that Sam might have eaten a Jenkins sausage if he'd been in that cage a day or too longer - no wonder what he had managed to eat of his breakfast made a fast reappearance. And they do say you shouldn't listen to other people's conversations, and that one certainly didn't do Sam any good!
Just typical of Dean to take a bite of the sausage on his way out!
| Bunny1 chapter 1 . 7/7/2009
Aw... awesome job!;)
| Rat chapter 1 . 11/26/2007
Wild horses couldn't drag Dean away from his food. LOL.
| MeShelly chapter 1 . 7/7/2007
Yeah...that was gross. Subject matter aside, I enjoyed reading it. :P
Nice portrayal of the guys-taking the situation in stride, but still having an adjustment period because they are, after all, human. I really like Sam's morbid observation of the parallels that run between the Winchesters and the Benders, and his doubts about the morality of their own actions. It reminds me of "Bloodlust", and brings in a scale of gray that adds depth to their characters.

"You mean by putting those murdering cannibals behind bars? Yeah, Sam, I think we did the right thing." - So Dean.
They had been feeding their captives- they had been feeding him- people-sausage. Human meat. Ground-up, freshly killed, once-was-a-human-being flesh, bone and blood. On a plate. While he sat in a cage like a helpless animal.
One more day and he probably would've eaten it, unknowingly... - Oh sick, man. Seriously. Gross.
Dean shifted his weight. "I don't get it. I thought the Benders killed- Oh. Oh."
"Dude, that's gross."
Sam huffed. "No kidding."
"Ugh. Dude, that's really gross."
Sam raised his head and looked at Dean in the mirror. "Yeah, I know."
"You didn't… did you?"
Dean nodded his approval. "Good man." - Oh Dean... hehe
I'm glad I read this. I liked that episode, as creepy as it was, and I'm glad you did a tag on it. Thanks!
