troesnaja chapter 7 . 1/14/2008 Still strange to think that Shego and Drakken are created by the god-monster, so nothing of their personalities is their own, pity... I hope they will survive in the end though, eithe rway. |
troesnaja chapter 1 . 1/13/2008 Wow chaos ensues, this is really good. |
necro-wulf chapter 1 . 12/20/2007 There are no words for the concepts you are working with. That is the ultimate truth. The only truth. Religion as a system has forgotten the stories that were there fondations, and have become obsessed with the vestments. The primal core the truths represent have been relicated and ignored. Christ, Budda, and anyone else who have truly seen the face of god have been misquouted, supplanted, disorted. The challeng is not to look upon the shining face of deity that stares terrible and majestic upon you, but to even find much less see the hidden face of god, where paradoxes meet. Good and evil, yin and yang, dark and light; they may appear as opposits, but in reality the are the same. This basic seemingly immutable division is only the first and last of those that hold existance from the void. God alone sees thing as they are, all one, even creation and negation. But it is the responsibiltiy, nay the instinct, nay the purpose of all life to ultimately strive for this point of enlightened, penultimate, perfection. To be one and many, God and his worshiper similtaniously. We have forgotten. There are no words. Well, that got heavier than I intended. I will be surprised if you read this Matt, but I hope you do. Many will read this, and see a story. They are fools. Others will see a philisophical exercise, and they are meerly ignorant through to fualt of their own. Some few may have heard that which this story was saying overtly, that has echoed through more stories than there have been languages to tell them. They can see the way, and may pass it on or follow it if they have the wisdom and strength. This is not a religion, it is the truth that clumsy languages have been trying to tell since man was. You are a part of that, and have performed artistically and admerably to tell the Truth. Your interpretaion was not perfect, but no ones is. It was damn close, and I can only hope that my craft is as elegant if I find need. You have cut closer to the bone than anyone I've ever seen within the confines of a choherent narrative Despite the melodrama, I feel the need to thank you. As a fellow story teller, and a fellow human being, thank you. |
MrDrP chapter 26 . 10/12/2007 Thank you for a most satisfying epic. Bleeding Through had it all: action, romance, horror, ancient myth revisioned for the modern day, and, most important, darned good writing. Best wishes as you move onto your own creations. Your commitment to do so is a reminder to the rest of us to being the same journey. With that, I look forward to seeing something by you on the new arrivals table at my local book store. |
RA1STL1N chapter 26 . 9/26/2007 Wow I would have to say this has been one of the best stories I have read so far. You are one of the great writers that I actually want more from. But as you stated earlier in this authors note that you do not know the answers to the untold stories well not in those words but you get my point. All these sories that have unfolded from yours are going to be dissapointing. Do you know why? Because the people who are going to try and start those stories im afraid to say will fail . You may have started on someone elses road map, someone elses world if you will, but you did not finish in that world, on that map, you finished in your own universe full of different stories and tales that remain to be told. The reason I said others will fail where you found success, is because only you know the universe that you created with this story. Sure this "new universe" may need to be looked through and discovered more but that is the whole beauty of being a writer to go where no writer has gone before, to find new ways to write. Well im sorry that this review has been a little lenghthy but I needed to put my point out there. Like I said before this is a very great story and you are an awesome writer. Well have a good one. your humble reader, DRIFTA |
D the Stampede chapter 26 . 9/26/2007 Almost a shame that it's finished, that's how great your story's been. Anyone tell you that you could write for a living. |
HermioneCrookshanks919 chapter 11 . 9/23/2007 I know that I should probably concentrate on the million other awesome things about your fic, but instead I'd just like to say how much I love you for mentioning Sailor Moon in your fic. Seriously. It just made me grin like crazy, because, what with putting Kim in the "real world," it makes sense that she would've seen Sailor Moon as a young girl. ANYWAY, it was one of my favorite shows when I was six to ten, so that just made me grin. Must get back to this story. I SHOULD be going to sleep, what with being sick and having school, but oh well. I love this story too much to even think about that. |
CajunBear73 chapter 26 . 9/23/2007 So this is goodbye from you for steady, continuous contributions to the FF site? If so, good luck, go safely in your travels, in literature and other means and by all means, come back every now and then. You and your works will be missed, but there'll always be a door or window open for you to return to say hi or more, every now and then. Thank you for your grand, sweeping tales, the shorter concise shots and all that you published here. We will miss you. Take care. CajunBear73 |
CajunBear73 chapter 25 . 9/23/2007 Now a tremendous tale comes to a close. The buildup to the 'end of the world', via the weaving through you did from start to finish(?), to the 'dawn of the new world' was something to read. The steps, landmarks and milestones you had Kim and Ron take through it all was something I very much enjoyed reading. You've left some threads hanging while knotting others closed that could lead to quite the arc by themselves. But this may not be something you would pursue; this is such the grand, story that there should be a few things left out from closure... The heroes have come to the end of this road, very omnipotent from the combination of their 'previous existences' and have a future ahead of them to change the world, side by side as they always do. Matri chapter 26 . 9/22/2007 We're gonna miss you, you know. This whole series is one of few that will still be enjoyable even after multiple reads. You know none of us want you to leave, but still... I thank you for finishing this epic, and wish you the best in your future ventures. Just don't be a stranger, 'k? |
Karon19 chapter 26 . 9/22/2007 I'll miss having you around. Good luck on your future adventures. Perhaps you'll be kind enough to take us on a few more of those sometime. Knight |
Karon19 chapter 25 . 9/22/2007 And so it ends. Thank you for writing. KnightofFaerun. |
ThatGuyWhatReviewsThings chapter 26 . 9/21/2007 I've followed this story for almost two years now. Turning a kids' show into a mature, explicit epic, with so many elements completely tangential and unrelated to its original source, is almost always the death knell of a fanfic, the sound of its own self-inflicted abortion at the very beginning. Somehow, though, you managed to pull it off, and pull it off well, no less. Now, hurry up and get an original novel out there. I'll take a drive to the bookstore for it. P.S. Have to concur with RonHeartbreaker - "Crash Damage" was a bit... anticlimactic, yes. The final chapter was a bit convoluted at spots, as well, and just didn't meet up to your usual standards, I think. Good stuff otherwise throughout, though. |
whitem chapter 26 . 9/21/2007 Wow... This entire story is just... Wow. A few minor things confused me a bit, but nothing that I can't get over. This has been, and still is, one of the Premier Stories on this site. I agree that there are many stories that could shoot off from this, but I like your ending, very much. But yet, you end it with Adrena Lynn becoming a new villain, and stop? Aw Man! I wish you nothing but Good Luck in everything you do sir, and this site will have a huge hole to fill that I believe will never be filled. I wish you well in everything that you do, and hope that you do not forget about us in your travels. Live Long and Prosper, My Friend... whitem... |
Comet Moon chapter 25 . 9/21/2007 Cunfused Do drew and Shiela remeber Being shego and Drakken? When shouting at Hego, she mention their enimies. Give me a BUZZ Truely a master piece and will be save on my PC Ja ne Jim |
