| The Poet's Mistress chapter 19 . 4/17/2016
Wow, this story was published ten years ago and it's STILL getting reviews! I've read this dozens of times, and I still love it!
One thing I like about this is that Padme and the handmaidens are actually written as teenage girls. In TPM, they were all in the age range from 13-17. Sure, they're all clever and skilled (Duh, Padme was Queen and the handmaidens were trained bodyguards), but they've also got raging hormones! And with Obi-Wan, who, as we all know, is pretty darn hot, they'd all be somewhat attracted to him, huh?
In short, good job! I love it! :)

I hate this because literally I can identify with Padmé and I hate it
I hate how much of myself I see in her character in this story.
But i do like how you ended this
Very realistic! Good job.

Obi Wan is an idiot. I'm going to drag him back to Padmé by that stupid braid of his.
| mkeeg91 chapter 19 . 4/1/2014
bad way to leave us hanging even if it's not the end ;)
| mkeeg91 chapter 4 . 4/1/2014
I keep shuddering just thinking of 15 year old Padme and '100' year old Qui-Gon ;) haha!
but I mean come on! he's 60 in canon at the time of TPM haha! [shudders]
but this IS funny in an almost mortifying way ;)
| Starhunter79 chapter 19 . 2/16/2013
The premise of this story was interesting, it was all Padme's fault and Palpatine just used the situation to his advantage. A great take on the story, but why did Qui Gon still have to die. He could have lived and been just badly wounded and near death for Obi Wan still to be needing comfort and feel betrayed. I can't wait to read the sequel. Thank you for your wonderful story.

I liked this twist on the traditional narrative. I think the ending suited the fic and can't wait to read the sequel.

i know you are going to call me crazy
but my friends just decided to watch a movie i really don't want to watch and so i decided to revisit some of your funny work
and on good measure i stumbled on this quote
“Obi-Wan. Who ever heard of a name like that? Obi-Wan.” She repeated. “Sounds like a feminine hygiene product.”
wouldn't i know about your obidala love i would think you have some sort of problem with obi wan :)
i wish i could come up with stuff like that
ah and btw i feel like a crazy stalker right now and fear that i am not helping in getting you back to writing :)
