| DigiChar chapter 7 . 3/15/2009
This story was 's nice that they are taking action against her engagement.
| Jimbalook chapter 7 . 2/9/2009
D: This is so wonderful. The characterization, the descriptions...it's really enchanting and romantic and I love it. You manage to pack so much...personality into each character, even just the bit ones. They're very real and distinct. Plus, it's original - your series is practically, if not truly, the only Yuke/non Yuke romance out there. Yukes need more love, man. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who thinks so.
I, for one, would certainly read and treasure a sequel. Even if it was just a one shot. So long as they get a happy ending.
...Although, it does bring to mind the possibility of Selkie who was unusually tall and thin, with disproportionately long arms and a knack for magic. Eh. Stranger things have happened.
| Ginnia chapter 7 . 10/26/2007
I really hope there is a sequal so we can find out what happens to Ter Van and Ralthia. The more I think of it the more I come up with sad endings then a happy one. The village is bound to realize that their second chalice is missing when those two are found missing. Even if they change their names the fact that they are a Selkie and a Yuke will make them stick out because how many Selkie and Yuke couples are out there. If the story of the second chalice being stolen gets out what chance will the couple have. Any time they go near a village or town there is bound to be questions that I hope the couple have answers for since the only places that will have a caravan will be a village, town, or a caravan. There could be ways that the couple could get their happy ending. One, the village could go with the "romeo and Julliet theory" and not even look to see if the back up chalice is missing. The whole village will consider the couple dead, there will be no man hunt for no one will know of the missing chalice. If that is not the case then I hope the Selkie's have a old law older then the current ones that says that Selkies need to protect their own. The couple could settle in that Selkie village near that mountian and then the Selkies wouldn't turn them in. The couple wouldn't speak of the second chalice and the villagers wouldn't ask. The couple defintely needs to find a way to live before they even consider having children. As you can see there is a lot of challenges this couple needs to go through before they can have their happily ever after and I really would look forward to reading how they accomplish it so please write a sequal.
| Midnight Eclipse713 chapter 7 . 11/5/2006
Also, like your last story, this was very good. The way you portrayed his doubt about loving Anne was a little bit splotchy here and there, but otherwise it was a good story. Like I said last time, well done.
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 7 . 6/19/2006
It just doesn't make any sense... Why would Ter Van and Caliphen sleep in a separate room from Anne and Elga? Another room would cost valuable money, which is something that caravaners don't have a lot of... There doesn't even seem to be any reason to get separate rooms... I mean, the caravaners all sleep together out in the open when they camp out, and even if they didn't, there still wouldn't be a reason to get separate rooms... It just doesn't make any sense... Huh? Oh, sorry! Just wondering about unanswered questions from a few chapters ago. Questions that'll definitely keep me awake at night wondering the answer to... Anyway, on to the review of teh chappie!
Great chappie! But was it really necessary to have them steal the back-up chalice? I believe in the game there was a journal entry that talked about pocket crystals to protect travelers. Ter Van's or Ralthia's family or even Roland could have one tucked away somewhere in a place that Ralthia or Ter Van know about. However, it is your story and your choice, and only YOU know what's best for your story.
It was a great chappie, though I'm sad to see the story end. You're such a great writer, and it's such an awesome story! Still, I'm wondering what the child of a Selkie and Yuke would look like... Or would SelkicYukish breeding be impossible, like a human and a sheep? And if inter-tribe breeding was possible, would the result be sterile, like a Liger? So many questions left unanswered by the game...
I hope you do a sequel, but only if you want to! Don't let anyone else affect your decisions, got it? _
I really enjoyed reading this story! Great job!
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 6 . 6/12/2006
You're thinking of Clavats. Not Carrots. And I'm well aware that Anne's a Clavat. But what type of Clavat is she? Is she Long Hair, Short Hair, Dark Coat, or White Cap?
I didn't know that "flan" was a food. I thought it was just a gloopy elemental monster from the Final Fantasy series. I guess ya learn somethin' new everyday, huh? What kind of food is flan? Some kind of gelatin?
Aw... What a sweet chappie! _
And what a great name for the chappie! _
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 5 . 6/11/2006
Hmm... So Caliphen is a Long Beak and Elga is a Bare Head. That just leaves Anne. What's she?
Hee hee. Cute chappie. The Alfitarian Caravan was beaten by a yellow flan, then Elga just ran up and beat it with a stick! O
NU! Ter van! Don't let lust get in the way of love! *cries*
And I'm happy to stick with your story. A good Crystal Chronicles fic is hard to find, and you're such an amazing writer. _
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 4 . 6/11/2006
Another great chappie! _
Uh oh. I hope Ter Van doesn't get any ideas about Anne. O_O
Say, could you please list what type of Race each character is? I know that Ter Van is a Wolfie and Ralthia is a Tulip, but I don't know what everyone else is, and if you mentioned it somewhere, I'm afraid to say that I've forgotten. Heh.
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 3 . 6/1/2006
Hee hee. Elga's such a maniacally evil brat. Another reason I like her. Characters like that add flavor to a story. _
Huh? Why did Elga and Anne have to get a separate room from Ter Van and Caliphen? Wouldn't it have been cheaper to book one room and all sleep in it? I mean, adventurers are on a budget, right? I'm so confused...
Yukes can alter the weather? I had no clue... Then again, I also heard from another fanfic that Selkies were once water-dwellers. This all might have been info from the game that I haven't reached yet. I've only played single-player up to the third year or so. I don't even know what the plot of the game is, as I know that collecting myhrr each year can't be all there is. I'm expecting something to happen any moment in the game, something that'll change the purpose of the game. I try not to read fanfics that'll spoil anything.
In response to your Reply to my other review:
Yeah, Caliphen is cool, too. I like Yukies, they're cool. _
Not to worry. I babble, too. It's a problem of mine. Heh.
Well, I'm sure it wasn't all your sister who made the titles. I'm sure you played a hand in the titles, too. Also, titles aren't what make a story good, it's the story itself that counts. _
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 2 . 5/31/2006
Hee hee. Cute chappie! O
I wonder if Anne is gonna be angry that they left her laying there to chase after the runaway wagon/papoapamus when she fell off. XD
I can't wait to read the next one! _
| Cyberweasel89 chapter 1 . 5/30/2006
Hi! Thanks for replying to my review for Untouchable! It's cool you made a sequel. I had actually found this earlier, but was unaware it was a sequel to Untouchable. O_o
I've only read the first chapter, and it's almost time for Whose Line, so I can't read the rest, but so far it looks great! I love the personalities for all the characters! So far, I think Elga's my favorite, but only by a small margin, as I like all your characters uber muchly. _
It's good to see a story with characters who have flavor in their personalities. I can't wait to read the rest of Soultouched. O
And did I mention that both Soultouched and Untouchable have great titles? You must be a title wiz. My titles aren't too good, I'm afraid, but they're the best I can do, so I have no regrets. _
| Chii-Chi-Chi chapter 1 . 5/9/2006
Oh! This story was so cute and funny! I read the other chapters and I can wait for more!
| The One True Koneko chapter 7 . 5/1/2006
Wahoo! Go Topaz!
Mooneye: Aww... that's so sweet.
Yah! You and Bal should do that.
M: Maybe I will.
Yeah... Well done TF. I can only hope my love stories are half as good. CIAO!
| Alliriyan chapter 5 . 4/30/2006
It was terrible and jiggly - brilliant line!
I like all of your descriptions and the characterisation is spot on perfect. I'm very jealous now.
Keep it up, cause you're a great writer :D
| Korean Boron chapter 7 . 4/14/2006
Oh! You have to write a sequel to this! It's so good! I love it!
