I am in love with your Jarlaxle and Entreri.
| freak-joy-spastic chapter 6 . 9/22/2012
I finally finished it! Twice I got to where Mordacai got to the ruins, but then something else would require my attention and the story would go neglected, but finally I got it finished. Hazaa! I never expexted him to get turned into a snake. Guess he really did mget his comeupence. Poor braid boy though, i was just starting o like that drow. ...Now on to the next one. I am positively shaking with excitement. XD

Heya, been reading the whole series past few days (It's awesome.) *clap* Of course, I am perfectly capable of dredging up the spelling mistakes, but I'll leave that be for a while. Huggles to a fine writer!
| Andi chapter 6 . 4/25/2008
That was absolutely incredible! You nailed Artemis and Jarlaxle, the story was amazing (I love little Tai _), and you are a very skilled writer. If you've never thought of writing your own book, well I would give it some thought if I were you.

I must admit, it's been a long time since I've read your work. Haven't gotten around to it. But I must say that, as always, I am impressed.
Good work! I gladly await the next trilogy, and also the next chapter of Music and Men. _

| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 6 . 7/7/2006
I am glad that the epilogue attempts some closure. Jarlaxle still worries me about his surface empire schemes and his convenient overlooking of what friendship requires of him to feel.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 5 . 7/7/2006
Artemis is going to be alright. For a moment, I thought Tai would die - that must be a testament to your writing, because it came alive so vividly.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 4 . 7/7/2006
I'm concerned about Artemis and Jarlaxle and their friendship, and concerned about Tai, and wondering what's going to happen because Mordecai's trying to return the mirror to be uncursed after Jarlaxle would most likely agree it's too late. I hope Jarlaxle reconsiders his surface empire. He keeps on shrugging off that feeling.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 3 . 7/7/2006
I feel sorry for Mordecai because as Jarlaxle said all along, he's NOT very bright, and that mirror is taking what he has from him. I'd like to think, after the crystal shard, that Jarlaxle would throw away the mirror if he felt oddly confused, threatened, and was itching with eruptions of scales all over his body.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 2 . 7/7/2006
Jarlaxle's very complex. I couldn't help but notice that he was sweating profusely, checked one of his magical items, and then let everything lead straight into bantering without really verbally dwelling on the heat or the erratic pattern of Mordecai's travel.
And Artemis has developed incredibly. The things he's beginning to say reveal the much lighter side of him- his sense of humor. And it makes -sense- for him to have the one he has. His development is a logical progression. It's awe inspiring.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 1 . 7/7/2006
The mirror has taken control of him somehow. Hasn't it? That's my prediction. And he escapes yet again! I am dying from the tension and disappointment. Chewing my lip again. But Tai is going to be okay, and everyone's alive. Yay for minor victories.

I have been working my way through this series since I discovered the first part by accident doing a google search. This is absolutely one of my favorite line of stories, on par with my love of the canon fics.
I remarked to a friend yesterday that sometimes it's difficult for me to remember that these aren't actually written my Salvatore himself. The characterizations, the interactions, the action, the dark humor... it's a wonderful work that stands on its own merits.
I thank you for taking the time from your school work to share your incredible imagination with us.
