Kinda annoyed with myself I didn't see barista and this way back. I started in 2002. but I wasn't reading SG fic till after this story ended. someone in a discord recommended it today. I like the stories. no idea if you're even reading reviews at this stage.

I know I'm nearly sixteen years late with this, and there's a chance it may never be seen, but it needs saying. This story has quite possibly helped me live another day. I oftentimes struggle with my mental health and today was slowly turning into one of the worst, though there was no determinate cause. I happened upon this story when feeding into my (potentially unhealthy) Stargate obsession. I would be remiss not to say that the Barista/Assistant stories have made me laugh more in the last several hours than I have in months. I have enjoyed getting to drink in every new chapter while sipping on a cup of coffee of my own (a vanilla latte, actually). There are no words to describe how much good these stories have done for me, but the least I can say is thank you. Thank you for writing these stories, thank you for being brave enough to share your writing, and thank you for giving me an afternoon of laughter (I *really* needed it). While I know there may never be a conclusion to Kira's story, getting to know her as much as I have is in and of itself more satisfying than I can say. Thank you and I hope to one day, maybe, continue to read about Kira's antics with the SGC and SG-1.

It's a shame that you never did write Kira reuniting with Daniel when he comes back to Earth in Fallen. But I get it, life happens. Thank you so much for this series. It's nice to come back and read it again when I want something that makes me feel good. And I miss Daniel.

I’m so glad you remembered Nyan! And I love that you seem to like Jonas too 3 he’s a fav of mine alongside Daniel.

Sometimes I come back and reread both this and the prequel. God I miss Kira as a character. She was interesting, smart, and a fun character. I would have loved to see how things would have turned out when Daniel came back without his memory.

Some day I hope thebbug bites you and you start writing again.

I recently started rewatching Stargate on Amazon prime and I was jonesing for a decent OC fic fix. This and The Barista always hits the mark.

Well this was excellent, Good to see a well written SI with the main cast not being overshadowed, and still in character. Hope some day you come back and finish this.

I love The Barista would love more of The Assistant. A great story about Daniel is wonderful. I’m so sad that the story wasn’t finished. Kira is a such a smart, sweet and saucy person. I’m so sad! I finished the Barista in a couple of days and started the Assistant. I’m done with what was posted, but it doesn’t look like you’re coming back to finish it. :( It’s so rare to find a good Daniel/OC story (still holding out hope!) that doesn’t sound like it was written by a teenager. I need to know what happens when Drexel gets his comeuppance! I NEED to see Daniel and Kira reunited. And maybe even admitting that they do, in fact, love each other. Please, come back if you can!

I first read the Barista series about 9 years ago and really LOVED it. It is one of the standout things I have ever read was glad to stumble across it again . I know it has been a long time, I seem to have randomly returned to this fandom lately, and most of the authors have long moved onto other things but I still wanted to comment on this, I have loved these 2 series with Kira and still do, I love your characters and the way they interact with each other, I love Stefan and Kira and thanks for spending so much time making them :)

So my 15th reading of the assistant and I still love t as much as I did the first time round! Are you by chance going to finish it? What will Stefan say about the broken wrist? How will Kira deal with Daniel coming back? Will Jack and Sam ever get together in your story? Will Kira ever go through the StarGate?
Would really love to know how it all ends. Your writing is so good it’s a pleasure to read thank you for writing.
