| NongPradu chapter 5 . 1/24/2009
Oh holy sweet GOD! I don't know why, but I thought the kid was going to live!... I actually gasped and clamped my hand over my mouth when I read this chapter.
I'm officially dubbing you the Queen of Horror. Seriously. *guh*
I feel like I need a calming glass of wine now...

Damn. Another brilliant piece. Awesome. I really felt sorry for Alex. And of course, Dean. Man. I could only imagine the pain Dean felt when he pulled the meat hook out from his shoulder and breaking his collarbone along the way. And having one of his legs almost blasted off. 0_o
Keep it up~!

I should be working right now, but this was a page turner. I love that way that you write Dean in this story, his snide comments and off-handed humor sound just like him.
Great story! (And that line about the stereo had me cracking up!)
| SW chapter 11 . 12/19/2007
I really enjoyed your story and wanted to let you know. I thought that the characterization was great and especially appreciated the differing POVs from chapter to chapter. Seeing in-depth into Sam's motivations was very interesting, and the way that you examined his need for normalcy was thoughtful. Thanks for sharing this story with us!
| Maimat B chapter 11 . 12/18/2007

Your story was so beautiful that it brought me to tears. Alex was such a pure wonderful character that he was hard to say goodbye to.
| Anna chapter 11 . 8/26/2007
Awesome, solid story. Poor Alex.
Thanks for sharing!
| Xayian chapter 11 . 8/23/2007
Damn, dude. You sure as hell can write dark. This is incredibly good! I kept wondering how the hell were you going to resolve the final kill with Dean in the condition he was, and you kept surprising me. Very good job!
| simplewin chapter 11 . 7/4/2007
That was an excellent story through and through, with fantastic characterization. The brothers' love and personalities shine through in this piece, in a way that makes me love respect them. Loved the way they weren't SamnDean, but Sam and Dean and that this was exactly how it was supposed to be.
I can honestly say that I will not be able to read a supernatural fic the same after that. Your storytelling skills are beyond good, they are phenomenal. I was not reading a fic, but watching the next Supernatural feature presentation, because I would pay solid money to watch this in the theaters, get the dvd and pretty much anything featuring the plot, action, angst, horror, and complete awesomeness that is this story.

Wow, so I really hadn't reviewed a single chapter of this amazing story until now. I'm so happy that I decided to come back and let you know what an amazing author you are, and also to ask, Where the hell have you been? I miss you and your stories. Come back soon!
They quickly looked away when Sam met their eyes. He challenged every one of them, every fucking one who dare look at his brother, to say that Dean didn't belong.
Whenever I was having a bad day, he used to say to me, it's okay, Mom, God only grants us so many tears." She fought back a sob, wiping away her streaking mascara. Then she looked up, almost directly at Dean. "My son was taken from us, but he's not gone. He'll never be truly gone. They couldn't take all of him."
- You are one of the few authors that can actually make me come this close to tears. If I didn't have to be at work in an hour, I'm sure I'd be bawling right about now..
"Think she'll let me have his stereo?" Inappropriate but so utterly Dean that Sam couldn't help but smile. - Haha. Almost crying one second, and then you write this? Awesome.
Great ending to an amazing story. There are only so many adjectives I can use, but I want you to know that I think you are brilliant. Can't wait until you come back with updates and more stories!
| bubblesquirt chapter 10 . 6/14/2007
It was a terror Dean still felt whenever he thought about that week he'd counted his heartbeats, thanking God for every single fucking one of them.
"I've never even kissed a girl," Alex said with a nervous laugh. - My face fell at this. I feel so much for this kid. It makes me sad that he's already dead. :(
Dean shrugged. "Well, dude, I'd offer myself, but I don't think you swing that way." He paused. "Do you?"
"Are you trying to take advantage of me?" Alex asked, just the small twitch on the corner of his lips and the glint in his eyes telling Dean that the joke had worked.
Alex nodded. "Well even if it does, could you...I mean, because my Mom's gonna be real upset, could you just, tell her it didn't? Tell her that...I mean just..."
"I will," Dean cut in. "I will." - AGAIN. Freaking pulling my heartstrings man.
"Look, buddy," Sam started, eyeing the knives in the demon's hands. "I really don't taste good..." - Haha, funny but kinda sick at the same time..
It rushed him again and this time Sam grabbed hold of one of its hands, trying to get the other, but the demon brought the knife up and sliced the side of Sam's face. - GASP. His..face? Oh nu uh! You better hurry up and kill this demon before I get my hands on him!
The meat cleaver found its way into the side of the demon's head without Sam even having to aim. - Hell. Yeah.
"We've got a pulse."
Sam sighed and closed his eyes, leaving the rest for the morning when he woke up and had his brother back. - The way you wrote Sam not wanting even close his eyes or rest until he for sure knew that Dean was really alive made me smile.
It makes me sad that this story is almost over. :(

Wow, so have I reviewed any of this story? I must have been crazy to put it into my favorites and not even review some chapters. My apologies and onto the review!
It must have been a whole new kind of fear to realize your heart wasn't beating, that you couldn't feel your own pulse, realized you didn't need to breathe. You just were. - Scary.
His arms tugged and he let out a gasp at the new pain in his shoulders. - Ouch.
And Dean may be quick and powerful now, but when that amulet was broken, Sam wasn't sure if Dean would even be able to stand up, let alone stay awake. - :(
Sam took solace in the fact that he could see Dean's breath form in the air, but ignored the way he couldn't see Alex's. - Seriously creepy.
Up, ignore the burn, just get off the hook, get to Dean, don't be left behind. - You capture his panic very well. I feel like i'm about to jump out of my seat!
"Probably that it likes its meat fresh, not dead and dying." - Aw, that's so harsh!
Dean couldn't save him. Twice he couldn't save him. Twice he had failed this kid and now he had just rubbed it in his face. Brilliant. - This is classic Dean behavior. At least to me.
Dean wished he could say no. He wished he could tell the kid that they didn't have to destroy the amulet right away. He could let him go home and say goodbye to his family, to his friends, to his life. He could travel and see places he wanted to see. He could take his time. But they didn't have time. Sam didn't have time. - You're breaking my heart man..
Another brilliant chapter. :)
