I don't really get why Rei is raping that Seele operative. Doesn't seem to fit basically anything else in the story.

Quite a good story. I liked the characterizations of all the Ghost in the Shell characters. Your OCs were nice and not overbearing. It was sad seeing Hikari become so harsh and filled with resentment, or Shinji not growing up, but it makes sense with everything that went on in their lives.

You've captured the spirit of Ghost in the Shell's Stand Alone epiosdes and you did a great job at making me feel the shock and surprise the Major felt upon learning about NERV and the events of Neon Genesis Evangelion. While I'm not sure about the Chief's involvement with SEELE, I greatly enjoyed this story.

A strange way to end the scene with Maaya and Rei, looking forward to reading the sequel, I feel bad for Shinji and even though he isn't a main character in this fic, I hope his life will improve in the sequel.

Nice story. Although the chief being part of Seele is a bit sad, but not overly unsurprising. I assume it was a cyber-com call and Togusa didn't hear it.

Interesting story, though I'm not sure I want to know what Rei did to her "friend" from Seele. Rape-homicide is always a little disturbing to contemplate, assuming that's what really happened and I'm not drawing the wrong conclusions.

But apart from that, it's a good story.

This was an interesting story, the fact that both GitS and NGE seemed to fit so well together surprised me. Rei would in fact be a great asset to Sect-9, but the fates of those involved kinda made me sad; especially Shinji's. The fact that he never grew out of his own insecruities and out of the shadow of his father was tragic. And I'm guessing, the way he looked down when he spoke with the Major of his 'feelings' for Rei, he also never really got over the fact that Rei was partially cloned from his mother's DNA; and that was truly the most tragic part of it all.

If you do decide to continue this story, and there's a small ounce of a chance that Rei can hook up with Shinji; I hope it happens. Maybe she can finally make him become the man he was meant to be, and force him to break from the shell of the 14 yr old Ikari posing as an adult. After all, they say that sometimes 'Shock' therapy works with extreme cases like that of Shinji's status. Plus, what happened to Maaya and Kenichi; did Rei re-write her memory again, and maybe sent her to his former lover's embrace; help both so to speak.

Well, whatever happened, and if you don't plan to rewrite a sequal to this, even if its a one-shot; then keep up the great work. You are one hellva a writer.

The quality of your charaterizations (particularly Rei's) was most welcome and needed in the Evangelion or Ghost in the Shell fandoms. It was both faithful to the characters but casting a new light on them. You made them your own without betraying their originality.
