this is just great; i'm totally laughing my ass off every single chapter. Don't ever give up on that team, I'd love to read more about it. it just sometimes get's a bit confusing who is saying what.

LOL! I'm having a little trouble following who is saying what, though. I think simple dialogue tags would help clear up any confusion. :)

Yep, it should be Jake. He's my OC, I think he first appeared in Awakening part2.

Colonel Jake Harper is the team leader of SG-5. A marine and a member of the SGC since its second full year of operation. A very close friend of Sam (and Jonas in the AU), and a highly respected, go-to guy, among his marine team. Back when he first started, like everyone else, he would have loved to have been part of SG-1, but the more he saw of what that team did, and the more he got into the responsibility of the marine unit, the more he utterly acknowledges that being on SG-1 would drive him crazy.

As he's pointed out a few times to members of SG-1. He could do it, but he's just not very good at taking insanely, stupid, and highly unnecessary risks.

It's less SG-5 being jinxes, just the combination of Jake and Jonas. Apart it's all fine and dandy, together they are a trouble magnet. :)

Who is Jake? Am I being thick or should it be Jack?
