A howl. That had to be the dumbest story I have ever heard and even weirder than some of Oma's worst Haiku.

This story is a howl. Have these 2 considered going on the road as a comedy team? Jake told Jonas's in-laws that he saves the galaxy as his day job? I howled. For a minute there though I though Jonas was channeling Daniel and his famous "make love not war" approach.

I had lost the thread of this story for some reason and have had to go back and read it from the beginning. I love Jonas as a smart-ass. I always thought he had potential in that direction and with continued exposure to Jack...ah..we see what would have happened. Love this chapter. I get the impression that Jake and SG-5 are sort of jinxes?

LOL I like their reaction to Daniel's appearance.

“Carrots are everywhere,” replied Daniel, enigmatically. (Now it's Danny's turn to channel O'Neill)

Funny and with great characterisation. Daniel's frustration with Jonas was great-shoe on the other foot for once-Jonas himself was damn cute and poor, poor Jake with two geeks-one of which isn't even on this plain and seems inordinately fond of caves. Sam really is going to kill them.

Nobody else does banter like you, nift! Awesome.

Loving the action - can't wait to see what role the incorporeal Dr. Jackson will take.

Glad to see this updated. Again, lots of little touches that make the characterisation and humour in this work. Jake manages to be snarky without being a carbon copy of O'Neill and Jonas is as he was at his best in the show. Typical SG-1 style situ. Daniel's right, as per usual- Sam ain't gonna be a happy camper. I adored the 'Fluffy the Wonder Kitten' as well. I think all due consideration should be taken for that to become his official nickname.

Really enjoying this. Love both Jonas and Jake :o)

*Typical* Jonas- ah, but how we love him. I like your characterisation- believable, but still with your own personal development and individual stamp. Plot isn't being sidelined in place of banter, which is good. And Jonas gets to do the 'peaceful explorer gets shot at' routine. All he needs to do now is get captured, die, get resurrected and have a love interest get Go'aulded and he'll have the full Daniel Jackson set! Yah!

And the interest is even more spiked. It's about to have a heart attack with all this spiking. Anywho, great chapter, I can't wait to read more, so update soon please.

Nice friendship bond going on between Jonas and Jake. I like the bit of background on his marriage to Beth. Sam feeling frustrated because it's taking so long to find them makes sense. The slug story Jake told was funny. Good banter between Jonas and Jake.
