![]() ![]() ![]() Good story-nice characterization of young Tom Riddle! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh! I love this! It's real... well, as real as fanfiction gets. It's hard for me to believe that Tom was ever sane- there's the Gaunt in his blood that would make sanity nearly impossible- and I've always believed that he couldn't be redeemed. BUT if he had started out like any other, without the insanity, I'm 99.986% positive that this is how this particular situation would have gone. Maybe alternate reality!Tom had some vestiges of sanity? Anywho! Totally on my favorites list, love. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my, I love this. You managed to keep them all in character, that's the most important thing... well, at least for such readers as me. The idea is interesting, and the no-snot-in-sugar (fluff, babbling etc) description of their relationships is just great. Yay! |
![]() ![]() ![]() rude little brat. |
![]() ![]() ![]() hope you could update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a VARY good story you have here thus far! I will be reading the sequel next, please keep on writing! |
![]() ![]() I really like Harry's reactions to Riddle. His manner in the beginning reminded me of Remus, but as the story progresses, Harry becomes more emotional and starts to lose his temper, he reminds of Sirius. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder how bad Tom's going to be in his teens. And what Harry's going to do about the Chamber of Secrets. I suppose he might wait to see if Tom finds and uses it, and if he does then stop him. Then again, he might inform Dumbledore and storm it with him or something. That would be amusing. Oh, nice ending, btw. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I can tell just from the way that Tom's still acting that it won't be smooth sailing, but it's better that way. Tom's not going to [magically] change into a loving, caring kid. He probably never will be, at least not overtly. He'll probably always be a loner and interested in power, but he may not take it to the level that he did in his original life due to Harry's influence in his life. Having something to hold dear makes you less likely to seek other things in life to fill the gap. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I quite liked your theory on how the Killing Curse works, though how part of a soul could push a whole, complete soul out of a body doesn't quite add up. Still, the idea, and the way you explained it (and did the the whole conversation between Harry and Dumbledore, really) was very good. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm guessing the Horcrux was just killed? Now don't tell me Harry will become famous in this world for surviving the killing curse..."The-Man-Who-Lived," lol |
![]() ![]() ![]() At least Tom's young enough to be changed. It'll take years, and catching him at the age of twelve is cutting it close, but I think there's still a chance. |
![]() ![]() ![]() **thanks author for there being a sequel** |
![]() ![]() ![]() Heh. This is only the second "Harry raises Tom" story I've seen and it's quite different from the other I read. Great job. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love how insightful Dumbledore is. And I'm glad he figured out Harry's secret - that scene was well-done. |
