|Reviews for The Best Thing I Ever Did|
| Khelc-sul Renai chapter 1 . 7/14/2011
I feel so sorry for the Diggorys. Cedric dying really destroyed them…
I can not agree more with Amos’ feelings that Fudge and Bagman’s bungling is at fault here. Getting rid of them was definitely a good idea.
I think I like Heather, and I really like that providing for his new family was the reason that Cedric joined the Tri-wizard Tournament. I really like that Cedric had fallen in love and already taken responsibility for the child, before he died, not just been irresponsible with a random girlfriend.
I’m glad the child managed to bring life back to the Diggorys.
Well written. Great, heartbreaking and hope-giving read.

| MoonyandProngs chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
That was great! I loved it! Though, I have to admit I was hoping to see Hermione at the Diggorys' door.
| Cassandra30 chapter 1 . 12/26/2010
sob So truly beautiful! So heart wrenchingly perfect. JKR never does go into Cedric's parents grief much. Although Cedric's mother is very gracious to Harry.
| Justine Lark chapter 1 . 12/8/2010
Oh, nice story! I wish it were true.
| Lourdes08 chapter 1 . 10/20/2010

| Dan chapter 1 . 9/13/2010
Just... it's just sooooo cute, it made me smile. Poor Ced, poor Amos and Fiona; they deserved a little more.
| november21 chapter 1 . 8/2/2010
OH. That's so sweet.
| hjcallipygian chapter 1 . 6/13/2010
Oh, this is sad and happy all the same. I like how you created this so realistic life for Cedric outside of Harry Potter.
| Rubberduck697 chapter 1 . 4/4/2010
Aw, this story was so heartfelt and beautiful. Well done! :)
| Sony Boy chapter 1 . 1/21/2010
This is just bittersweet and really heartwrenching.
I'm glad Cedric's parents have a grandson, just a piece of Cedric.
| Dianna Granger chapter 1 . 12/22/2009
That story was so sad, but really well written. I loved it!
| stilljustceci chapter 1 . 7/31/2009
That was absolutely beautiful. I say as the mother of a sweet, beautiful boy, that I could completely FEEL this story.
Your stories have such emotional depth.
| melpomene94 chapter 1 . 1/24/2009
Really interesting take on Amos Diggory. After GoF, he sort of exits the books. I am intrigued by the idea of a Cedric Jr. What would his life be like, as his father's son?
