| Bella Cuore chapter 1 . 11/5/2011
Very sweet. I fell in love with this sweet movie, & I was already in love with Gerry. It is a shame if you don't write another one. This was very good.
| Storytellermama chapter 1 . 4/3/2011
this was beautifully written. A lovely ending to a movie I adored but wish there had been a happily ever after. This gave me that conclusion. Thanks for sharing!

This was stinking amazing. And definitely the best out of the little archive of the Dear Frankie fics there are. :)
| Gene's Gal chapter 1 . 3/23/2010
Wow, misplaced knight in a child's fable? What great words! Endless legs, broad shoulders and green eyes, hot damn Kevin is beautiful! I simply enjoyed this fic, it was like the movie appeared in my mind and ended properly this time without leaving me with too many what ifs questions that were never answered. Fantastic and emotional, added to faves.
| sadi chapter 1 . 7/10/2009

| LadyEowyn23 chapter 1 . 5/3/2007
Hm. Lovely. I loved the film and have spent time wondering and creating in my head what could have happened after the film ended. I love this piece you have done and can visualize it, hear Kevin ( Gerry Butler dreamy sigh ensues) and his Scottish brogue, smell the salt air and perhaps imagine that I am the one in his arms, the first person pov certainly was great.
| Tracy137 chapter 1 . 1/9/2007
This was beautifully written; you picture every part of it,even smell the ocean.
I think this would have made a much better ending for the film than the one we were given; although the film ended on a note of hope it didn't really have the warmth the rest of the film had had.
This would have been the icing on the cake; well done for writing such an excellent piece. I look forward to reading more of your work.
| Amokitty chapter 1 . 11/21/2006
I am such a HUGE fan of this movie! Your story is every bit as melancholy and heartfelt as what I saw on the big screen.
It was a little bit confusing for me with the switch to Lizzie's point of view mid-story; but the dialogue had the same minimalist feel as the movie. Your descriptions are very detailed and it gives the story more drama.
I loved the ending! It was a real pleasure reading this.
| Christine Writer chapter 1 . 10/16/2006
YAY! CUTE-love it so much! Very complete!
| Kelsismom chapter 1 . 6/29/2006
That was very sweet. You didn't need a lot of detail or dialogue to get your point across. I liked that.
The only thing that was a little confusing was the switching from third to first person (Lizzie's point of view)in the middle.
I enjoyed it. I hope you try writing more fics.
