This was fantastically grotesque.

While I don't regret them bringing Shadow back (fangirl alert), it does bug me pretty hardcore how they did it. Then again it bugs me how they've changed Knuckles since the early games, too. Not design, but personality-wise, I mean.

Sega's just bad at this sometimes.

...well Its true that Decending into the atmosphere would vaporize, freeze, and ignite you...but how exactly does a spacestation get enough energy to fire a cannon that manages to go faster than the speed of light. And don't say it's from the chaous emerads, because if it is, everytime someone uses them to 'Power Up" it should naturaly cause them to tear a Black Hole in time and space...see, you can't explain EVERY thing...but yes, Shadow reappearing is something of a failur...that plus all the random caracters SEGA stuffs into all the new games...

I have nothing to say that hasn't already been said, so I'll say this: Awesome story! *favs*

Okay, that was GOLD! Disturbing, hilarious and gold. IMO, I guess a compromise could be even if they intended to bring back Shads, they could have at least let him rest for a couple games and expand more on the main heros again.

I personally wish they would expand on Knux's heritage and the history of Angel Island. For goodness sakes, Archie made a whole Knuckles comic series out of that premise (though I despise getting lost in the sea of echidnas they flooded us with).

God, this was good. Normally, I would not read such fictions, but this was hilarious.

I can understand your distaste for the way they brought him back...I did not really like how he returned in Sonic Heroes.

However, his own game, "Shadow the Hedgehog" hasm uch better graphics, and is more in depth about his past, and his purpose.

I, like many others, felt that bringing him back cheapened his death...but regardless, I am glad they came out with a game about him strictly. Sonic Heroes was a joke...

May I be allowed for a rebuttal, though? Okie dokies. *nod* Personally, I always thought the way Shadow's death was handled in the games was stupid. NOT in a "OMG MAH SHOADOW'S DED ITS NOT FAIR!11!1!1" way, but in a "...Okay, what the heck just happened?" baffled sorta thing, and not the way SEGA intended. Shadow's death would've been elaborated more in the games: I would've been bawling my eyes out, like say, what happened to Aeris in FF7. But nope. Shadow goes poof, for no reason whatsoever other than to play dramatic music and what seemed like a quick effort to wrap the game up. His sacrifice was vague: why complain about an "OMGCHEAPENEDDEATH!1!1" when the death itself was cheap? No wonder we had all this debate and fanfiction, even BEFORE "Sonic Heroes" came out. XDD

Regarding the scientific details listed, I find it interesting how in "Shadow" (I know, I know-people get hives and super violent and ranty when I mention the game's name alone), Shadow was saved because Eggman sent one of his robots after him-I assume he must've had pretty quick timing, considering the robot reached Shadow before he got frozen and such. XDD;

Well you didn't take into reality the many parts of Shadow. When he fell he was initially Super Shadow and still contious. Also, Shadow is an experiment that was created as the Ultimate Life-Form. He was a project of immortality(read my story Rogue Agents: Project Shadow to understand or the Sonic Adventure 2 guide where it shows Rouge's finding of Shadow.) and can't simply die by even falling through the atmosphere. I'm sorry, but if you don't do your research then other people will, and point it out to you. My story isn't based off a bunch of stuff I made up, only parts of it.
