Aw! Good for him, good for her I suspected maybe there was something...not much...but something, upon watching the episode "Irresistable" (Lucius asks Teyla something suggestive, I can't remember what, and Rodney says something like "we don't even know your name!" and proceeds to be embarassed by a huge crowd of people)
Really cute and well written, I like it. )

What a warm, wonderful feeling this left me with. This was really, really sweet, but at them same time, there's very decisive depth to it as well. A great moment you've created here, hitting just the right notes for both characters. Very well done.

Rodney McKay is my least favorite of the regular characters in Atlantis. With this story you've captured a thread of his personality that could easily be there, just never shown.
The ship wars seem to be overshadowing the friendships these characters have achieved over the two years they've been together. This story is a great contribution to that other 'ship'.

That was a nice little interlude.
