I like the idea of the Doctor trying to read a book for so many centuries and not getting through it. The Secret Garden is at gutenberg dot org. It's a wonderful book, and the website has thousands of others as well.

Aw, how cute. I know the feeling, where you have a good book but you can't keep it in your hand for more than a moment before something calls you away. I'm glad that the doctor finally found a way to make sure that he could at least hear the whole thing.

That's a really nice piece! I enjoyed it very much.

This brings back fond memories. My dad was a fast reader, but he started the book the Russians long before I was born, before he met my mom, even, and when he died when I was 14, he hadn't gotten past page three. Always went to sleep.
