![]() ![]() ![]() That summary was beautiful. I would have loved to read it, but I get it. I have that struggle with some of my own works. Trying to go back after years away is hard. Thank you for what you did share with us. It sounds like you are in a good place now and I’m happy for you for that. I had my own cancer scare in the fall, after watching my Dad lose his fight. Cancer is nasty. I wish you well! |
![]() ![]() Brilliant! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi there, I really appreciate that you posted your Note and also the summary. Of course, it's sad that it coldn't be finished, but I can totally understand that it was a different chapter of your life and you don't need to be reminded to starkly again of that time. So, Thank you for letting us know. cheers Maya |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. Grade 2.I survived . It really sucks when the doctor tells you that-especially three days before your birthday ... |
![]() ![]() He chucked slytherin's locket. |
![]() ![]() You know, Harry is much more of a spineless whiner in your fic than he is in the original. Given that he grows a backbone in cancer-related situations but immediately loses it in ordinary settings and merely mumbles and whimpers, this is highly weird. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's a pity the fic won't get finished, I really enjoyed it. But I'm glad it's because of you feeling better than when you started it. Thanks for the summary at the end. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey. Umm, I know you may never read this or if you do, respond, but I wanted to say thank you. People in my family have also died from cancer, and while I wasn't super close with them, that fear is still there. I also deal with some of my own mental issues as well and I just wanted to say that this story was beautiful and really helpful. I honestly just wanted to say thank you for writing this story. You have inspired in a way that is undescribable. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the outline. I really liked this fic, but completely understand why it has been discontinued. Thanks for sharing your journey and reason for discontinuing with us in the last a/n. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much for providing us with how you wanted this story to proceed and end! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much for all the work you put into this fic! It's helped me process a lot of things over the years. And thank you for the outline! I doubt i would get to it any time soon, but may i write a "continuation" with the kinder ending that you mentioned in your notes? I can send it to you, or just post on ff with reference to your fic. I won't be posting anything without your permission, of course ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() While its sad to see that it wont ve truly finished, i have mad respect for you posting an outline it is a unfortunate thing that not alot of authors do. Stay strong, till the next time we meet |
![]() ![]() ![]() Please know that I understand that you were using this story as a way to work through bad times. I am favoriting and following this fic knowing full well you don’t intend to pick it up again. I don’t wish those bad times on you again, and if that means you no longer need this fic, I understand. I want to acknowledge a well written and interesting story. I am one who likes happy endings, so I will imagine that Harry finds a magical donor, although I think your ending is really satisfying. I love the idea of him going into healing. I still want to hear what happened with his mother, how he could remember her being killed with a green light, if she died before then. Thanks for sharing. |
![]() ![]() Thank you for this last post. I'm both happy and sad to see it end. I'm very happy though to hear you're in such a better place now. To the story summaries ending; I loved it. And even though it wasn't in story form it was an emotionally satisfying end nonetheless. Thank you for sharing it. Hopefully you continue on with something else, but if not, at least happy to see this tagged as complete. Best wishes. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for sharing the summary. It is great to know you are better in your mental health. No worries in not completing the story. |
