So touching the way the team showed how much they cared while still giving the family space to work it out.

Wow, the angst and the sadness. I felt like I was there the whole time. You really know how to draw your readers in.

It was wonderful reading about all the love and caring that surrounded Charlie. And, the ending was a wonderful confirmation of that.
epalladino chapter 17 . 4/5/2009
Very sad having Charlie dealing with grief and depression. Very well written and you deal sensitively with a difficult topic. Thanks, Beth
Lutralutra chapter 17 . 10/19/2007
Yes, it was dark. And I can't really think of energetic Charlie as being suicidal. Although P vs. NP is sort of like mental, that was a weird simile. But anyway, you did show that there is light even in darkness, and I always love that in a story. I think in terms of the writing this was the best of the Oregon trilogy - you did really well with description, dialogue and everything. So, great job. You're an awesome author. :)
