| Sealure chapter 1 . 10/5/2016
Dear God... I am in tears. I can't read this without just completely breaking down. Especially that line "...and howled for my friend and brother to return. But Sirius had not come." It is very unusual for a story to affect me this much, but this thing creamed me. Excellent job!
| Louey06 chapter 1 . 3/2/2012
This was beautiful. Poor Remus, never getting to say all the things he needed to.
| Black Hawk chapter 1 . 10/30/2011
OMG this was so heart-breakingly sad and bittersweet. I'm almost crying. :( "Nothing had changed. How could nothing have changed when everything was different? " This line in particular really struck me, for it is so true about death. There is such nonsense that follows loss and you captured it perfectly. I see that you're not posting fanfiction anymore and hope you're out there, blazing away with your quill, getting published or working towards it, for you're a very gifted writer and an excellent storyteller!

| Sad eyed Lady of The Low Life chapter 1 . 7/5/2009
What a truly brilliant story. Excellent characterisation, great storytelling, absolutely amazing!
| nautika chapter 1 . 6/8/2009
I've read your LOTR stories over the years, but I just discovered your HP stories this week. It's been wonderful reading about the friendships, especially between Remus and Sirius. This story is by far the most touching, the most heartrending of those I've read so far.
Please keep writing.
| Jayden Winters chapter 1 . 5/31/2009
Very nicely written. I enjoyed reading this. You are a very talented writer!
| witchdivasirenqueen chapter 1 . 5/8/2008

I really love it
| Anyone But That chapter 1 . 1/23/2008
That's so sad! I'm nearly crying! You should write one about their reconcilation, if you've read the seventh book. They can't stay sad forever.
| hexx.me chapter 1 . 8/3/2007
and sad [
| Sea Mitress chapter 1 . 1/30/2007
Oh my... this HURT. It hurt so much to read.
It's been months since a fanfic made me cry, but you did it.
I can't even form coherent enough comments... Remus' hurt and guilt, the thought of Sirius, it's all so heart-wretching...
Truly remarkable story, vivid and palpable emotions.
Thanks for writing this.
| Ivy Bramble chapter 1 . 1/22/2007
This was absolutely, heartbreakingly beautiful. It always irked me that in the book the only indication you get of how Remus is feeling after Sirius falls through the Veil is that his voice is breaking, whereas in HBP he actually collapses over Dumbledore. This piece also seemed to capture the spirit of their friendship very well, it's not perfect but they wouldn't trade it for anything else. It made me cry. Keep up the awesome work!
| LixXxa chapter 1 . 8/10/2006
wow. this is so touching. so touching. ~*-wipes tears away-*~
| viciousdisorder chapter 1 . 6/16/2006
I've just finished making my way through all your harry potter fics. And finished with this one.
wow. *sighs* just wow.
I'm suddenly unsure about what to write.
I've loved all the stories, how you've told them, the emotions, the actions, the various facets of the interaction between Remus and Sirius. This one though... urgh... I think you've managed to create perhaps even more of an emotionally powerful scene (and storyline) than JKRowling did in her version of events.
It really is so deeply moving...
And I'm afraid I really can't think of anything much more to say ... my brain has just shut down from reading your story.
| InkandPaper chapter 1 . 5/30/2006
one of the best i have read on the site...so moving - what a terrible way to end a life, i hate to think of Sirius dying with Remus still angry at him...
i can say without doubt you are the best author i have come across in your ability to get right into someone's character and make your readers cry.
you always have just the right mix of emotion and reality, so your stories aren't like some that don't affect the reader because they are too unrealistic.
well done. You are extremely talented, and thanks for the story
