Long time since the last update, any plan to continue this story? It's without doubt the best HnG story I've ever read and it's a pity we will not see its end.

I thought you had made the side stories for us to be able not to read about characters we don't care about.

Just caught up on this whole thing and it was quite a read. You continued the story of Hikaru no Go exceptionally from the unfortunately abrupt point that the manga left off at. I think you were spot on with pretty much every characters' personalities, though Nase has romantic inclinations towards Hikaru which is different, I do like the choice because there was something about her I quite liked when I watched the anime recently (I had read the manga a while back before that). Just like Hikaru no Go's sudden ending, it's upsetting to see that this fic hasn't been updated in years and after nearly 500k words, it's sad to see it just end, without even close to an ending. Anyway I'll hope for an update one day, thanks for writing all of this.

And here comes the end...

First let me tell you how much I enjoyed those last days, coming home from work and having your wonderful fic to read, it was just like being in one of my favorite book and reading it until my eyes started to burn.
From now on, I consider your work canon, and everytime I'll be back to HnK, I'll read your fic after having finished the manga. The work you've done here is simply amazing, because writting about Go isn't the easier thing to do. Every match was so well done that I was always exciting to read one, I was holding my breath during the big one and praying for a win for Hikaru. And each time that occurs, I was smiling so big that it just feels like I had just win myself.

The way you wrote the interaction between Hikaru and the others is flawless. You did a perfect job with the friendship/rivalry between Akira and him, I couldn't ask for more. And even if I am more of an Akari fan, what you did with the love triangle wasn't so bad. I really like how you protrayed Akari, she is one of the Character I wish we could have read more about...

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having problems with your Ex and I hope that right now you're happy and doing well on your Life with your son.

I'll forever keep an eye on my email box, waiting for an update mail, this story is too amasing to start loosing hope.

I'm also sad because after reading these, the others fic about HnK are gonna look small and empty, never start with the best work, it leaves you with so much expectation for the others works... Not fair for them ;)

But the ceremony was well written, exept the dream at the end, I didn't really like it.

I don't know how I didn't find your story sooner, I'm a huge fan of HnG and as I was re-reading it, I search for a fanfic which could take me after the manga ended. And I was not dissapointed, your story is truly a work of art.
Your match are amasing, and writing about go must not be easy, I love your Akira and I wish we had see more of him... I want the two of the to fight again
The only part I don't really understand is why hikaru liked to play that much with nase. You made a point saying that be doesn't like playing with the lowest Dan, but he really enjoy his match against Nase ? But if she can't beat Isumi ou Waya, she doesn't really have a high level... But seeing as I prefer Akari, that might explains why I don't really like her ;)
I've seen that you hadn't updated in a while, I really really hope that someday you'll be back at it. And while waiting, I've still a lot of chapter to read :)

First of all, thank you for writing this amazing story. Your writing and storytelling skills are amazingly enjoyable and I wish you all the best on future endeavours (maybe getting published in the future even)
Second of all, I hope you don't mind too much my saying this but I just have to say that Nase is the worst part of the whole story for me. Its not a reflection of your writing, its just she makes me uncomfortable and I end up skipping all the chapters with her in it. She makes me grit my teeth with how annoying she is to me. Plus I find it highly uncomfortable that she as an 18 year old has set her sights on a 15 year old who is mature in some cases but is essentially still naive in everything else in life. She just seem so unnecessary to me, speaking as a woman in her late 20s. I'm not even speaking as a shipper as when I read HnG, I read it as a teenage girl who read it for the game and the story. I know I have no say on how you write this character and how many chapters you devote to her but I just had to say it. The first time I tried to read this fic I lasted 18 chapters before I gave it up because I just didn't like where it was going in terms of Nase but I didn't want to deprive myself on one of the most detailed and probably the best fanfic work in this fandom so I will continue doing what I've been doing and skipping all the chapters with the character in it.
Again thanks for the updates and goodluck with everything.
