Ugh, he's getting cocky. You jerk. It's hard for others to just accept it. I know when Einstein said 99 percent hard work and 1 percent talent is needed for success, but it's hard to accept someone else has more talent than you no matter how hard you try. Waya, I woulda slapped him too!

I seem to be saying this a lot, but Oh My Gosh. This is so great. I can't even. I take back my no descriptions comment but this is so much better. I usually skip over descriptions subconsciously but this was so great, I read every word. You are really skilled at this. I have been questioning what the Divine Move was, but it looks like there's no real definition. It's so great that you added Akari again! And oh my gosh, the glowing hands. YOU'VE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING.

When I finished the manga, I told myself I would write a continuation, but now I realize this is so much better. In case you haven't already in the later chapters and decided to, I made a list of stuff I wanted to include: more of grandpa and mother, what happened to the Go Club Kaga, Yashiro will definitely show up, more of the new generation defeating the old such as in technology (the Chinese guy that Isumi roomed with), of course I also wanted to provide more background info on the others as to what happened, like all the people that were ever in the manga because I hate one-shot characters, and obviously the other countries. I hope Sai doesn't become undead again because that defeats the purpose of his death, but I hope Shindo doesn't forget him. More on Touya-former-Meijin of course, and others.

Wow! This story is so awesome! I love how the plot is moving. Not too quickly but not to slowly. I personally think you should stick with the original system. The new system seems cheap to me since that's the point, but I mean it's almost cheating. To me, the whole point to Shindou and Akira is that they are lower dans so it's harder to believe that they're so good.

Anyways, SHINDO IS GAINING RECOGNITION YES. Can't wait for next chapter, but I won't have to, haha!

OMG I love this! I don't know why but I always love it when the main character is praised. I've said this before, but I love your style of writing here. It's close to the manga in that there aren't that many details, but because it was once a manga, we can picture everything. Good job! Straight to the point.

As soon as I read this chapter, I knew I had to continue reading. This is so believable as a continuation since it follows the same themes and others. I know I'll be staying up late tonight reading.

i was smilling when i reading the first half. it was so friendly and fun. hikaru is more mature now. he even more mature when it come to a girl. i even wonder what nase think about current hikaru.

another nice continuation on the plot based. i am happy for fuku for growing stronger but feel bad for ochi , he was being humiliate it by he was though rival akira. well... so far akira only saw one person as rival is hikaru (that the main reason why he observing hikaru's match). and for nase... i don't know about her skill. but i think because it's been 2 years so i guess it's okay.

Regarding the story, it's been over a year since the last update, but I hope you are still receiving notices of reviews, and I hope they give you strength. I hope you find it within yourself to continue this story.

i am so happy. i finished reading hikaru no go a few days ago and i must say it felt like after that nothing could match it. the fact that it was not finished kept going on my mind ( i remember feeling this way when i finished death note). i even tried to read shion no ou but nothing worked. so i'm glad to read a continuation of the series. i'll keep on reading as it seems interesting.

wait, wait, wait. who won the Waya tittle? was it Hikaru? yaayy! he's now the first ever unofficial holder of the Waya tittle! his first ever! I dub him, Shindo Waya! (...wow, that sounded awkward).

I really liked this story. This is actually the first fan fiction that I have read, and frankly speaking I am rather surprised, in a good way of course, about the quality of this story. This is especially so since the ending of this manga was quite abrupt, therefore to whet my appetite this was awesome.

Although there were some developing of the characters that I disagree with, I mostly agree with what you have created. Therefore I do consider this canon.

Since the previous update quite a bit of time has passed, but I think I will frequently come back here to check for updates. Hope that you have settled down your life issues and can once again write for us, your loyal fans out here.
