| AlmostElectric chapter 1 . 9/13/2014
I don't have many words for you, and for that I apologise, but this is sheer genius. I almost wish this was canon.
Beautiful, beautiful writing.
| eenayde chapter 1 . 7/18/2014

| Zenthisoror chapter 1 . 2/19/2014
Wow, I found this on TV tropes and I'm so glad I did! This is a fascinating interpretation of the Uchiha massacre. It's tragic and haunting, and it even feels pretty claustrophobic at points from Itachi's point of view. I'm not sure why he accepts Kisame as real, but even still, this was an original and excellent little one shot!
| xxxMishaxxx chapter 1 . 1/24/2014
...Oh my god that was amazing. Beautiful and chilling at the same time. And the ending. Wow.
| AoMythology chapter 1 . 12/16/2013
Canon also has Itachi not being very attached to his family (though Sasuke and Shisui are exceptions), you know.
But not due to anything as trivial as a head wound. The Uchiha simply were incapable of understanding him - he was too unique and too smart.
| MadnessLover chapter 1 . 12/14/2013
| Katie chapter 1 . 12/9/2013
Great story, its so depressing that he gave his life away like that truly believing his family were imposters
| Duesal Bladesinger chapter 1 . 12/8/2013
Holy crap, this was amazing.
| amethystfirechik chapter 1 . 12/8/2013
This story is awesome in explaining why Itachi did what he did. I always found it a little hard to believe that Itachi would murder everyone from his clan based on orders. I always though the emotional attachment would make it difficult or impossible to actually go through something like that, even if it was for the good of the village. It's sad to see that he would never recover. Great story by the way.
