Damn. I get the feeling I really should get ahold of the Wheel of Time books.

Hm, I think I like where this fic is going, though I'm having problems comprehending everything. Need to read it all when i'm not dead tired.

Still, I love this story, and the one that came before it. I hope to see more chapters soon.

First off, I really enjoyed So Be It. The innocence of a 10 yr old person was pulled off really well.

This sequel however has been hard to read.

The main problems I see is that there are too many things going on. You've got at least 5 plot threads going on (Sailor Moon, Ranma, Ranma's daughter, Setsuna, the Dragon Reborn, the birth of Sailor Moon) and nothing is tieing any of them together. This is a bit of a burden on the reader to keep track of and understand what's going on. If you must have all these threads, it might be better to develop a few of the threads more fully before introducing the others.

The other problem I see is that you've hinted at something major going down, but nothing in details of what is actually going to happen. I expected to get some development of the "evil" sides plans in this chapter, but am left wanting. Nothing makes me feel like I should read more. I'm not sure what kind of suggestion I can give here.

In the previous story there was always the underlying plot of what is going to happen when Ranma gets back. Would he get revenge on Setsuna? Would Akane ever remember what happened between them? In this story there isn't that driving force behind it. Sailor Moon is still cleaning up. Your Halcyon story line is sort of interesting, but it's hard to understand where it fits into the main story line. There's stuff going on in the WoT world, but most of that is extremely vague hinting of things to come rather than things happening now. Keika is mostly a blank slate character still and I don't feel any sympathy for her, or any of the loss that Ranma feels for losing her.

That's actually something that might help the story a lot. Make Keika a more sympathetic character. Make the reader attached to her. Flesh her character out more before she is seperated from Ranma.

I hope I'm not being to discouraging. You've got one of the best prose styles in fanfiction and I know there's a interesting plot in there. The chapter intro quotes have hinted interestingly at things that are to come.

I was happy to see Ranma and Machin get back together. It seems that their reunion was cut short. Understandably as Ranma's priority in this case was Keika. I do look forward to seeing more awkwardness between them as I don't believe that Ranma's feelings or Machin's have been settled by her little speach. Ranma seems to have forgotten her feelings of loss when Machin first turned into the Black Wind, where she would have done anything to get him back, even try to be attracted to him. This is obviously overshadowed by her more recent experiences with Akane, but it could be interesting if she were reminded of that feeling again.

I really love Ranma\WoT crossovers and this one is shaping up quite nicely. Don't leave it hanging like so many other good stories!

Hiya! great to see an update again. Sorry, I never reviewed your story till now. I was always lurking around and being lazy. I must say this saga of yours is my favourite among your storys. It's just too bad that you "killed off" your story "The Blessing". I liked this story. But whatever. "So be it" and "The mark in the Lace" top it off. I've read Ranma Fanfiction since 1997 (Hearts of Ice was my first one ;D) and I must say among the many stories I've read this saga is my second most favourite. Only Daniel Ruth's "Journey" I like a bit more but you cannot compare your story with his work. Totally different genres. So, among drama/adventure I like yours best. ;)

D. Ruth's "Journey" is no. 1 in comedy/adventure. So, I've outed myself as a fan of your work. Keep on going the good work. It's marvellous. Btw, Tamra is Akane,right? Right. Has to be. The clues you put in your third chapter are just too obvious. But is she now a ghost waiting to be reincarnated or what else is she? I don't get it. How many years passed by since Ranma disappeared from the WoT-World? 17 years? Oh well.

Great section, though it looks like Machin's going the Kuno route, though he's a bit more justified by it. Looking forward to how everythings continuing in the world, and how this will change Ranma in the end.
