![]() ![]() ![]() i love this. uh... ya... |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was very well done! I enjoyed it so much I read it one day! You described their personas so well that I was shocked. Congrats! -Kay |
![]() ![]() ![]() aw...! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have no useful constructive criticism to dispense, so I'll skip that part and move on to laying on the flattery. You are a brilliant writer. The story was very realistic, and the premise was very interesting. The humour was amazing as well. I love how you've characterised Ron and Hermione, and their growing affections - or hints of affections - for each other. You made me cry at the end, too, which is quite a feat indeed, considering how cold-hearted and callous I am. Bravo! (or brava, rather) |
![]() ![]() ![]() favorite lines: "He’d exhausted the comic potential of the mental slogan ‘Save Blood – Write Smaller’ " and "It's a two-way port key now innit" As for constructive criticism I can't think of anything brilliant. This story shares themes with many of your others. I thought the addition of why Harry doesn't want people hurt for him and the 'survivor's guilt' he has starting with his mom was very smart. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great! Very realistic! Could almost be a missing moments! I especially loved this last chapter...what can I say? I'm a sucker for fluff! Good job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, I love it! I don't feel like I read enough of the friendship of the Trio. People always use it as a chance for them to fight or turn it into romances. |
![]() ![]() What a lovely idea, what a lovely, lovely Ron. You made me cry. \/\ “See, Hermione?” Ron’s voice sounded from above them. “I always told you I was prettier than Cho!” Well, this is true. |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was brilliant :) |
![]() ![]() I cried at the end of this story - this is exactly what Harry would have been thinking - a sharp shock to take himself out of his self absorption and into the real world where his 'family' of two waited for him if i had a criticism it would be that in the earlier chapters there are no markers between the changing points of view, and it took me a second to recognise that you'd changed voice. i really enjoyed this - thanks for the read |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am seriously all misty-eyed over here! What a wonderful story and a gorgeous final chapter! Hermione was very IC - how persistant she is asking her questions. The only critique I would give is that sometimes it get confusing when you switch POVs and there's nothing (like a line break or something) to alert the reader to the change. I just think it would read easier if you did. I really loved this! |
![]() ![]() Awesome story... The last 2 chapters especially...really heart wrenching... and beautifully written... The way you write the Ron/Harry friendship is among the best I have read in the whole of fandom...Brilliant! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was unbelievably beautiful, and fantastically well written. Its the ongoing battle of 'I'd die for you but I couldn't bare it if you died for me' arguement, which is hard to do but you did it really well. Hermione was, of course, pivitol in this as she would be, lord bless her! lol Nice one Step ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, good grief! I haven't ever told you how deep, how true, how pure and passionate is my love for this story? This story is so gorgeously moving and touching, so heart-swellingly loving. It's been on my favorites list for months, andwhile I'm at work, I regularly come back to it and re-read the last coupld of chapters. What I love the best here as the innocence, that total and innocent love that is childhood friendship. This is love as deep as any romance, as true as any fairy-tale, yet without any whiff of sexuality. Now, I love a good whiff of sexuality, and even the occasional bath in the stuff, but it's such a pleasure to be reminded of the joys of a more innocent love. My heart just swells when I read this story, like the Grinch in the face of Mary-Lou Hoo (who was no more than two.) |
![]() ![]() ![]() all good good. fab fab. but could it have also been a romance fic, too? |
