Thank you so much for writing something so beautiful...
I always wanted to read a different USAGI who isnt trap from her past. i like mamoru - but - but - how often had he been kidnapped, played with and how many times had he broken usagi's heart?
i like this story so much... its a perfect ending for the anime... i always adore seiya/usagi... for i feel that they are more suited to each other.
in that short season - seiya had mind blown us all - he had given in that small season how much he can protect, love and adore usagi... not bound by the past... but for the future...
thank you so much

If only there was really a real Naoko Takeuchi Fan Site in which we could really reach her & have her read our is brilliant...wouldn't it be great if your imagination could lead to a sailormoon sequel in which seiya came back & this time Usagi chose had a perfect ending it wuold be great if you write what happens next about usagi and seiya'S life together & what became of everything usagi left on IT UP!:)

The way the series should end. Beautifully written. It's strange, but when i first saw season 5, I didn't like Seiya at all, but about a week after finishing the series, I took a look back at things and just fell in love with the Seiya/Usagi pairing. Her love for Mamoru is mostly based on her past life's emotions rather than her own, and she's sort of bound to him by destiny rather than by choice. Now with Seiya, they fell in love with each other naturally and on their own without any outside influences, making their love seem more real and pure. If Chibusa would still be born with Seiya as her father instead, then I call it a perfect romance.
Anyway, great story. I loved it.

Well written story. I always dreamed that Usagi and Seiya ended together and with a family. Thanks for writing such a beautiful fic.
| Midnight Fearie chapter 1 . 3/24/2011
This is how the wedding should have happened! I mean, seriously, so much better than her marrying Mamoru! It's not even right that this isn't what really happened! This is perfect, a dream, and I loved everything about it! Thank you for writing this! Had the series really ended this way, I would have loved it so much more. Seiya and Usagi are meant to be together, and Mamoru and the future she keeps being told she has to have are keeping that from happening! Destiny may be written in stone, but powerful waves can wash away the writing.
Thank you so much for writing this, it was just amazing and I love it!

... have I ever reviewed this one? I don't think I have, so please let me tell you how utterly heartwrenching, gripping and beautiful this story is.
It doesn't hurt that you have featured a pairing I adore. I watched a few episodes of 'Sailor Moon' - and promptly, Seiya/Usagi were forever stuck in my long-term memory, despite never having been what consitutes a Sailor Moon conoisseur at all. In my opinion those two have an eye-popping chemistry and I love to explore whatever 'What if' scenarioes are offered with the rapacity of a true collector.
Packing so much tension into a one-shot and continually winding it up in a way as to keep your reader on the edge of their chair shows an admirable level of storytelling skill. You have provided sufficient backstory and given us valid reasons for why the main characters' behaviour strays a little from what is perceived as canon. They have grown, they have matured - and years peace on Earth have made them more sedate than they used to be during their senshi years.
The only thing I would've wished for is a little more expanding on Usagi's mindset. I can easily see why Seiya has become what he is now. After all, he left Earth with a fully-blown, one-sided crush on Usagi. Adding that to the fact that he is easily the most compassionate member of the Sailor Starlight Trio AND the fact that one of his prevalent character traits is a fierce sense of loyalty, it makes sense for him to work himself into a funk.
Usagi's emotional world, however, may need a little more explanation. Her chipper goodbye during the last episode can be construed either way, whether she was really oblivious to the extent of Seiya's feelings or was trying to gently let him down by sending off obvious 'friendship' vibes; either will work. we can also guess that she must have developed strong feelings for him after he had gone for good, otherwise the turn of story wouldn't make sense. However, since her feelings are such a fundamental deviation from whatever is perceived as canon, I'd love to see a little more development in this aspect. As things are now, we readers learn of her doubts rather surprisingly (and somewhat shockingly); she is thinking of Seiya seconds before he is about to make his appearance and turn the whole story over.
So my suggestion is to either give the reader a little preparation in advance for a shocking revelation, whatever it will be, or adding even more punch to the scene: using the momentum of surprise to its full extent by having Usagi be just as surprised as the reader will be. Since this part of the story is told from Usagi's point of view, both optins are viable and I'm confident that, with your level of writing, you'd be able to pull off either of them creditably.
Other than this tiny issue, I have no remarks whatsoever except for telling you that I'm currently sitting in front of the screen with a huge grin on my face. It's like plain dark chocolate, partly sweet, partly bitter and satisfying on all ends.
Seiya/Usagi fics are few and far between, so I especially thank you very much for sharing this story! Should you ever find the spark to write this pairing again, I'll be happy to read whatever you offer.
