|Reviews for Stargate: Thirdspace|
| Guest chapter 24 . 10/21/2016
I only skipped though the chapters, which play in the Stargate universe. There were just too many original characters and hardly any canon ones in that part of the story. And as it plays in the future of the Stargate series, a lot of other things are also different. The war storyline with the Sinhindrea is also not so interesting.
But I loved the chapters in the Babylon 5 universe. Those were cool! The appeal of crossover stories is for me to see, how well known canon might change, when people from another series come to that universe. It is interesting to see, how familiar characters react to characters from a different series. In this case those Stargate characters are original ones, but a certain amount is fine. I just don't like fanfics so much, where practically all characters are original ones. It also helps to make a story more focused, if it plays in just one universe and not more at once.

still an entertaining read. though i'd like to point that an earth government naming an exploration vessel the Cortez is in rather bad taste. not too mention potentially awkward if the race they meet is aware of earth history. it would tend to make them instantly suspicious.

interesting beginning. though from a military standpoint, them not having any back up ZPM's doesn't make any sense. especially since you have them capable of making the things. the military is all about redundancies.

Why on Earth did you use the name Shepherd?
The worst character in history of RPG!

The premise of this story, or rather the reasons for staying hidden make no sense. There's intellegence then there's paranoia, the action of the Tau'ri are fully in the latter. What possible advantage could they gain from watching tech so far below them?

Very good story!

Good story so far. A few errors of note: There rather than their, fowled rather than fouled, weary rather than wary.

... I'm pretty sure that we learned lining up and charging eachother wasn't the best tactic back in the 1700s, why would our future forget that. Also for the Hammond class ship - ever heard of rolling? the enemy couldn't have kept up with it. also you said they could turn and directly attack because they kept maneuvering away - but in the end that is exactly what they did when they charged?
