SO very glad to see an update so quickly! and yet another fabulous chapter. i absolutely loved the stylistic elements to this chapter, like starting off with the question of the mutant travelling between new york and new orleans and then repeating it later, and rogue's thoughts and flashbacks interspersed with the narration... good stuff. i like how you're capturing her - a part of her misses remy and thinks he understood her, but then other parts of her remember that he ending up leaving her, and he really did betray her trust like everybody else did. very nice conflicting emotions, can't wait to see how (if?) they resolve themselves. and hmm, what's this offer gambit's going to make the others? dun dun duhh... i'm SO eager for more! please keep it coming, quick like a bunny on crack! ;) |
