This is an ok fic that is tainted by the overly dark designs of the author. The prose is good, the storyline is interesting, but by all that is good it so out of balance.

I believe that the key to an effective drama is to have it strike out of nowhere or have a steady buildup until the key point is reached. It should also not be reused every other chapter as its effectiveness deterioates quickly. These two points are heavily broken by this fic to the point it becomes quite a bit of a chore to read.

I am uncertain if I will continue reading but would like to wish the author good luck in their writing activities and hope that they were able to learn from writing this fic.

I find it interesting that Hermione could communicate with the dark Harry when she was dead.
I agree that much of the insecurities have to do with the common comparisons that Molly made about her children. It's like I want robots.
I loved this chapter.

Draco was just a product of his parents' frivolity and how petty they were.

The first chapter was pretty intriguing. The second chapter felt a little forced.

The third chapter just seems disappointing and poorly thought out.

What in the world is wrong with Hermione? She seems to have completely forgotten about Voldemort and the Death Eaters, and that the entire reason anyone Harry cares about got hurt was because of them. She can't put two and two together and figure out that removing the insane dark lord who's completely helpless until the end of 4th year will stop people from getting killed?

And why has the entire magical world seemingly forgotten about accidental magic and now finds it to be some sort of rare ability instead of something all children do?

And while I'm at it, why is Tonks, who should still be in school at this point, somehow a trainee?

It really feels like railroading characters to be where you want them to be without any attempt to make sense of things.

I started the story knowing when I was getting into. Story long abandon over a decade ago, but what you have written that’s far is fucking phenomenal. Oh I couldn’t put it down.

I’m not sure being able to do wandless magic means one can’t use a wand. Every witch or wizard does wandless magic, it’s called accidental magic, and they still use wands.

This chapter explains my confusion on time. With Tonks as a Junior Auror, I had Hermione pegged as 10-11, as Tonks is about 8 years older than Harry in canon. But Hermione is 6, which means the author fiddled with Tonks age, which isn’t a big deal but does help orient me to the story.

This is a different, and I think creative take, on time travel.

The personal tragedies of a Hermione are a gut punch. I thought Uncle Jack was killed earlier? And burglars armed with firearms are very unusual in the UK as compared to the USA, though the incidents of home invasion are significantly higher.

I love this story so much. Its hasn't been updated in 10 years but it is still one of my favourite Harry/Hermione fics ever.

I love how in this chapter you show that despite everything that hermione has been through, she really doesn’t have all the answers, and that’s ok, because she’s got her family backing her up! And it explains how the ministry has files about her magic usage, which is really cool

Ohhh my gosh did it glow gold because in the other timeline they’re already married? It looks like the two timelines are progressing at the same time, but I feel like the child hermione timeline moves faster in comparison to undead hermione timeline! Because both Hermiones from each timeline are connected right now, are the rest of the characters going to end up with weird dreams, or even becoming one w their other timelines version of them? How torturous would that be for Harry like could you even imagine?
