|Reviews for Concrete Angel: A Plea for the Children|
| anonymous chick chapter 1 . 8/15/2014
You know, of all the stories I've read that were inspired by that song, this is the first time that someone's created a real solution to the abuse, a real show of how the Wizarding World unites in the face of cruelty. Thank you. Children should be cherished dearly, not harmed.
| Alexis chapter 1 . 7/8/2014
I agree with you fully. Children are a gift to have but some treat them as burdens. We need to spread the word and help kids affected by this. No one deserves such a fate.
| s.k.f.f.f chapter 1 . 1/1/2014
nicely written one shot.
i never experienced abuse as a kid, rather i was abandoned in the streets of seoul near the orphanage. all we can do is move forward and look towards the future; happy new years.
| Guest chapter 1 . 10/23/2013
I agree child abuse is a horrible thing. I have a kind, loving family who, yes, I ocasionally argue with but I could never imagine being abused. I love this story and its message.
| Adina2938 chapter 1 . 10/6/2013
This paragraph was amazing : After watching the Wizarding World finally band together to fix what had been broken so many years ago, a small, too thin angel turned away from his home and flew, flew to the place where he knew for sure he was loved. Into the waiting arms of his parents and godfather, and to of course, play Quidditch with Cedric. He was free, and loved at last. This whole this was heartfelt, but reading that made me cry.
| GENIUS-PEWDS-STRIKES-AGAIN chapter 1 . 3/23/2013
I agree. When I was younger I was abused by my stepmother. No one believed me except my sisters, brother, friends, and mother. Now my stepmother is being nice and my mother is abusing my brother and I. Only my sisters and friends believe me. My grades are getting lower and lower because of this. Seeing the counselor only makes it worse. My brother tried. It got worse. Child Services here in Benton County sucks. I might even have brain damage from what they did.
| exaigon chapter 1 . 5/24/2012
That last line is the truest words I have ever heard. Death seems to end many things and then people regret that it had to be a death to end it in the first place. Death also brings to light many artists who only become famous after they die. Tis sad...
This story was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing.
| Rooz990 chapter 1 . 11/22/2011
very well written
| Ferretess xxx chapter 1 . 9/20/2011
I love how Voldemort was good-ish in this. Great job, this is a truly moving piece, and, of course, I agree with everything you said about child abuse- it is wrong!
| Wow chapter 1 . 9/3/2011
Wow, this really is a fantastically written story. It brings light to a terrible thing while not putting it in an overly sweet or terribly gruesome way.
It didn't really hit me until Voldemort carved the quote into his gravestone. Then I just started crying & had to take a break from reading.
Fantastic story & fantastic writing.
| manyuu chapter 1 . 8/28/2011
This was great! _ Heh, I had accidently put it to my story alert by accident.
| Ice-cream-and-cake-cake chapter 1 . 8/24/2011
My that was so beautiful! My grandmother was abused in her first marriage(I know this is not about child abuse but abuse is abuse)and my mother was abused by her father(that's the first marriage father)and new wife. But it makes you stronger as you get older if you don't give up. It was nicely written!
| Total-Stranger chapter 1 . 8/15/2011
aww you mad me cry, and i harly ever cry, i agree with what you said though, how many kids do have to die before we o anything? its discusting how people who have commited these type of things walk free! sorry bout the . anyways i loved how you fitted voldemort into all this. :'(
| phantomwriter2006 chapter 1 . 6/2/2011
