|Reviews for Two Moments|
| medicgirl chapter 1 . 7/11/2009
So sad! While it is an X-Men story, anyone who has lost a close friend can relate. Almost makes me want to cry...
| Lady Stars chapter 1 . 6/12/2009
Of course Logan would guess that. That was hysterical. Great one-shot!
| CaptMacKenzie chapter 1 . 6/8/2009
I saw that this was favorited on somebody else's list & decided to check it out... a third of the way through I realized I'd read it before. Since I didn't review the first time, let me say this -
It's obvious you put serious thought into this, and wrote with care to get it just right. It shows! The tone is perfect; the reflective mood is executed nicely in the way you crafted the POV. I've always liked the nature of Logan & Scott's relationship, as it's obvious that you do - varying levels of antagonism are always present, yet there is the potential for so much more, for a profound type of friendship. For an author, they make perfect foils.
You embellished the first scene just enough to make it your own w/o making it tedious since we'd seen it before, and while the second scene painted Logan more two-dimensional than I'm comfortable with, it served its purpose for lightening the mood. Overall it was a satisfying, creative little piece of imagined memory.
| Sakura123 chapter 1 . 3/28/2008
Okay, the first story, pretty much like the sequence in the film, was nicely executed. I loved how you embelished the emotions between Scott and Logan as they "spoke" to each other. The second story was freakin' Hillarious (never invite Wolverine to play Capture the Flag. Danger of impalment), especially Logan's answer to Scott's second (or third) Charade. Seriously, I was rolling.
All in all I enjoyed this story
Keep up the good work!
| Caellach Tiger Eye chapter 1 . 12/28/2006
Very funny, in the second one at least.
The movies really DIDN'T do Scott any justice except for X1. His role diminished a little more with each movie, until they 'killed him off' in X3, with less than ten minutes screening time. X3 really butchered the whole storyline of X-men. There was an uncomforting change from lots of plot to very little. It had some good points - like Beast's fighting techniques, Iceman's ice form, and the Phoenix - but it was rushed and shorter than X2. And some characters were only put on the Brotherhood because of their certain powers (Multipleman, Quill and Arclight) Only six X-men, too (Gambit and Havok would've been good additions, but I reckon they'll come in X4)
Anyway, I enjoy your writing style, because it can be both silly and sensible at the same time. I might look at some more of your fics, and look out for the next one you write.
| XxxxDeletedxxxAccountxxX chapter 1 . 10/28/2006
OMG! *laughing my ass off* Mermaid! That was freaking hilarious. The rest of the story was great, good job on writing emotions.
| MyOrli chapter 1 . 8/5/2006
wow. absolutely amazing fic. i'm torn between emotions. it was sad, but cheerful at the same time, ya know? i guess that's how every dead person should be remebered, huh? the, well, funny times. but, god, i literally cried. it was beautiful. hope you write more like this!
| Jessica chapter 1 . 7/7/2006
I don't often review the stories that I read, but this one is just beautiful. It brought a tear to my eye and a smile to my face.
| Saturnian Solitude chapter 1 . 6/20/2006
I love the attention to detail in the first part. You really fleshed that scene out. When I saw it in the movie, I thought, "This exchange is so trite." But now I will always remember it differently because of your story.
| heraldtaliar chapter 1 . 6/12/2006
That was so sweet! I hope you intend to write more-if not in this story, than in something else.
| Subakun-sensei chapter 1 . 6/5/2006
It's sad but I love it. Will you write more?
| Amai Nozomi chapter 1 . 6/3/2006
haha, the end was funny and the beginning was so sad. T_T i'm glad you write all this stuff with scott and logan cuz the movies don't really show their relationship much.. hehe, keep writing! please? ;;
| Qk chapter 1 . 5/30/2006
Hm... I've developed a special bond with this story, even through the constant interruptions that never cease to leave me the hell alone. (aka, father dearest). Very nice. VERY nice.
| ii99 chapter 1 . 5/29/2006
I can't decide whether to laugh or cry! Beautiful job!
