Yes, this fanfiction is DEFINITELY one of the better Ranma fanfictions.

"One Trick Pony" by Beartooth, is one of the better Ranma 1/2 fanfictions. In it, Ranma tries to
actually improve himself. Of course, if he DOES improve himself, it won't go down well with
Genma, who wants an easy life of retirement at the expense of Ranma's blood, sweat and
tears.

It's hard to find decent Kasumi x Ranma fanfictions. Won't lie when I clicked this story I didn't think I would enjoy it but even before yesterday happens I was invested! Once Kasumi asked to train with Ranma I was hooked and just HAD to see where it went. The Langoliers were an odd but nice touch!

I would think Ranma would be able to build things, on account of the fact that with how quickly things get rebuilt in Nerima, I'm quite sure there are martial arts carpenters somewhere, and no way Ranma hasn't fought one of them, and learned their skills.

Actually he should have a fair few skills, just because in Ranma1/2 anything can and will be martial arts, and Ranma will have to learn any and all martial arts at some point, which mean as a side effect he will learn the non-martial art part of things, like when he got challenged to martial arts tea ceremony, he learned the art, and he also learned how to have a tea ceremony, which mean he wouldn't embarrass himself much, if taking part in a normal tea ceremony.

And that's how it's with lots of Ranma1/2 martial arts, if you learn them, then you can use the mundane parts for a job.
