|Reviews for The Colonel- Series 3- Still Marching On|
| M Atkinson chapter 7 . 10/29/2001
Absolutely brilliant piece of writing. In terms of self discovery the tables have been superbly turned on Kathryn Janeway.
| Peter chapter 7 . 9/19/2001
This series is unique and superbly written. I don't think there has been a genre left out; humour, angst, tension, romance, action, adventure, all neatly tied together and crowned with this chapter focusing on the Captains character. Well done for making Voyager so much more understandable

Well, I'm going to try to make this short and sweet...I admire you and your work. No matter how much response you get, good or bad, you always write anyway, and based on the fact that most of your documents are titled revision 39 or something like that it shows that you never settle for less that your best, and that's what writing should truly be about.
All right, the short and sweet parts over. Now, what else do I have to say with this overly big mouth of mine? Oh yes...I once read somewhere that hurting a character, physically and emotionally, causes a reader to feel sympathy towards him/her and makes them favor him/her. If you over use this, however, it can have the opposite effect (this applies more to physical pain then emotional pain). Hence horror movies (scream) same into being. I think that you may have reached your limit when it comes to physically injuring the colonel. You might want to stay away from that for a while. You're free to torture everyone else, though (hehe). I'd like to see some concentration on friendships. It's obvious that they exist, but a little attention (but not a WHOLE lot) would be nice. Also, I know that Seven and the Colonel are your stars, but they don't always need to save the day. It seems to me that you're at the point where you can do just about anything and it will be good, including giving people and taste of what it's like to fail, or what it's like to be rescued instead of rescuing. The possibilities for you're writing are endless. Just make sure you're happy with your work. If you think everything I've just said is crap then it is. Do what you feel is right. Well, that's my two cents. Feel free to give me yours if you ever read "Crazy for Leola Root Stew" or "Just Another Day". I'd love to hear from you.-KateMarie

I thought the last one a little slow and complicated, but the tension built. This one fairly rocketed, building to crescendo. I could see how the Borg could underestimate the Colonel and loved the final catfight!
