I know this is an older chapter (haven't read your newer ones yet) but I just have a small critique (unless you have already addressed it). I notice a lot of the time in Flame's inner monologue he says something like "I don't know how much time I have left" or "I don't know where he went" and then the next sentence confirms or subverts his thoughts. While it is fine to do this sometimes, having it done multiple times per chapter gets a little grating. Perhaps instead of doing that all the time removing the first part sometimes (like just saying "he appeared out of nowhere" or "it seems I didn't have any time left").

Well, I finally made an account on here, and this was the first story I wanted to check on. I figure you probably won’t be back, but thats not gonna stop me from hoping.

The lesson here is 'kill the squishy human first'.

I doubt you're ever going to see this, but i just wanted to thank you for the story you gave us. This story was a huge part of my childhood and to this day I continue to reread it, I even saved each and every chapter as text documents so I could put it on my Kindle to read whenever I wanted. I've read many published stories with less fleshed out characters, and I've never seen anyone able to jump between humorous and depressive as well as you do; even within the same chapter.
I hope wherever you went after stopping this story has been good to you.

Wow finally caught up and its a huge pity about the gaps inbetween episodes. Over a decade this began. I remember reading this a few years back, gained internet access in work and decided to reread all of it (yes I know, I didn't review, I reviewed before ha ha) so thanks for keeping me entertained with over 600k words

Ugg I finally got done reading this.

Honestly it is one of the best things on this Pokemon sector of the site. But that took me basicly forever to read, which is great.

The shipping in this changes more than gear shifting in a stick shift car. Which can be very confusing, or not.

Thanks Buwaro and anyone else who worked on this. It was a great read and I certainly enjoyed it. Now we wait for the next chapter.
(Which will probably be in 2019, see you there!)

Not trying to be rude but what happened to our once a year update,getting one chapter a year was becoming tradition and now its late :(

I've been following this story since you first started and I still keep coming you release a chapter soon?This story hasn't been updated since Aug 5, trying to force you or bother you,I've seen fics I loved abandoned 200 chapters in so I'm abit worried is all.

If you're back does that mean that the other authors who are writing the two sister stories are back too?
