It's been quite awhile since I read SG fic. I miss these guys. Found this with a wildcard search for "wrong". Not that it isn't a well-known phrase anyway, but after reading the summary, Depeche Mode's song "Wrong" was running through my head. Appropriate dark tone to the fic. Quite enjoyed this, for the fact that yes, John should have known better, but it happened believably. He trusts Tayla, and Tayla still trusts in her knowledge of the way things used to be. Also enjoyed that McKay did well for himself in the end, and did not cut a coward's figure in this story.

Wow. Loved it. This is a perfectly sized helping of angst. Not too big, not too small. It's as good as the SG-1 stuff I've read of yours. You must write more for Atlantis! Maybe one with Rodney actually alive and snarking.

Saw this on jumperbay, but thought I'd review here too. Very nicely done angst. You capture John's emotions over Rodney's death very well. I could picture the whole scene as it played out. Great job.

You created a haunting atmosphere, here, pardon the pun. The water, the sounds, the emotions. Good. And very bleak. *sniff* Anyone need a hug?
