I just came across this story, and was sucked into it. It's very well written, and I like that you're establishing Eponine's relationships with everyone before you bring in the romance.

This story is so good especially for this pairing. I haven't been able to find any other good fic for these two! Thank you for writing this.

I’m glad that you aren’t tossing Marius and Eponine in bed together. It would be horrendously out of character for Marius. I’d say that this is should be re-categorized as a drama though. There isn’t anything wrong with that, but as far as plot goes, it really isn’t your typical romance fic. There’s just more to it than Marius/Eponine romance which is a good thing in my opinion.

As I’ve been reading, I’ve noticed that you haven’t been describing enough in detail. Most of the story is in dialogue format, but is lacking in description. It reads more like a straight play than it does a novel. I’m not saying that’s bad, but you might consider putting more description in rather than just working off dialogue.

I really like it. I'm impressed with your ability to write Eponine. I havent read The Brick in a long time, but I remember almost everything about Ponine, and you are writing her masterfully. She still has that defience that she always did, but hidden by even more layers of unhappiness. Marius is believable, and for once I actually like the character.

I would leave a longer review, but it's late, and I just wanted to say, I love it, and please keep writing it. Please, this is a wonderful story.

I don't see an Eppie-Sue yet, because Marius isn't all over her. It seems like he's trying to help her out more than get into bed with her. Also, Eponine doesn't seem to be the focus of the story. It seems more like Marius' journey, and he's really the one who's developing most and the one who gets the most focus.

Anyways, I didn't mind this chapter much. The previous one was better, but this one wasn't bad. It seems like the chapter was rushed though. I got the feeling that you threw it up just to please the reviewers. You don't need to, take your time. It will show up in your work. Other than that, it's still good. Keep up the good work.

Hmm, nice chapter...I'm a fan of Eppie-Mariusness, as long as it's not too corny. I'm truly enjoying your story, but it's teetering dangerously on the edge of Eppie-Sueness. Maybe put Éponine in the driver's seat for once? Update soon!

I don't usually read stuff for this pairing, because I'm a diehard Marius/Cosette shipper. I'm very amazed though that you're actually making this pairing work. I'm not really sure if I'm going to read anymore, but I hope that you finish this story. Your writing is awesome, and you've really got a talent for it.
