Tease. Here I was happily clicking to chapter four. As Kaylee said in ch. 1 about Jayne, you've put me in a poetical mood. But angsty and irritable. ... And completly melodramatic. Heh. I shall find you on Twisting the Hellmouth, then. *nods resolutely*

- Yay for new chapters. River was definately my favorite in this chapter. Floating like mice with wings? Kinda perfect. I think if you ever took a stab at writing Drusilla you'd get it par and first. I really want to know what the plan is, especially with the counting down from nine hundred; the joyful by-product of just now checking back to see if you'd updated is that I get twice the enjoyment for seemingly the same wait. Happy thought. Okay, now I'm wondering if perhaps Buffy went to Hell (briefly?), what with the mentionings of being devoured and the strange demons in the picture River gave her. I'm not sure at what point through this chapter that occured to me. Especially since the bulk of this chapter was just great crew interaction and fluff-not withstanding the obvious suspence at the end. On that note, you wrote Jayne perfectly, hole in one. His reaction to River coming with them and "I like big"? I laughed nearly as hard as when I read what Buffy's alias is. Love it, going to read the next chapter.

Might I suggest moving this to the BTVS Crossover section of ? I quite like what I've read so far and I'd never have known the story existed if I hadn't stumbled upon one of your other stories and checked out the author link.

Aw, they make a cute couple. You are doing a good job at keeping the character, well.. in character. I especially like how Buffy is slowly opening back up and growing-she even quipped! So Buffy got sent (somehow) after the final battle in Sunnydale. Did she get picked up by the Alliance right away? So far the only time frames in the story all range from the point. I really like where you are going with River-Buffy interaction. The greater portion of the time River just gets ignored to an extent, and besides, she needs a closer friend other than her brother. I love it so far and can't wait for your next update. Thanks for writing a very entertaining and original story.

*Gasp* Firefly. And Buffy. Together. *having a fan-gasm* You are the first author I've ever seen to combine the two best Whedon universes. I got a little confused as to when Buffy came to the future? Was sent there? It seems like she didn't live all the way there, so it can't be one of those "willow brought her back immortal" stories. I can't wait to see where you go with this. By the way, you wrote Kaylee spot on. Good job. -
