I read this also like alot of others here before.
Very good story.
Milt made sure Mark was taken care of by his dr. wheaether Mark agreed or not at first.
Sometimes Milt has to pull rank on him in order to get things done or to just simply get his point across to Mark that he cares about him.

I love "missing scenes" and this series had more opportunities for them than most. L.M.'s right about this being one of the most obvious and I really like the way you don't skimp. It's not _just_ a fill-in, but almost a story in itself. I think my favorite part is near the end where the judge repeats the "that's what friends are for" remark. Very nicely done all-around!

I always wondered why there were two LuvDJudges (not that we don't all love him ;-)) All is made clear.
I remember this one very fondly-and never was there a missing scene that more deserved to be written. I love your nifty bit of foreshadowing: 'Hardcastle nodded. "I have to keep you out of trouble."' Hah.
