Hello! My name on here is WinterJade but I can't even remember my password to log in as it has been so ridiculously long since I've bothered.

I thought that was a relevant piece of information, since I have known this story for longer than my name has been WinterJade in the first place.

Today, having had a rough few days where I needed a laugh, I came back here. It's not the first time. I started reading this in high school when it was first updating, and it has been...a very long road. But every so often, out of the blue, I think of this fic. I think of my own abandoned stories. I think of you and how you've grown up with me in a way and how your voice has changed. And at the risk of getting philosophical on a goddamn KisaSaku crack fic, I think of life.

I just wanted you to know that something silly you started over a decade ago out of lighthearted in-the-moment fun, didn't go into the digital trash yard that 'old internet stuff' can sometimes end up in. That it didn't get forgotten even by one of its earliest readers and won't for a while yet.

I really wish there was more to this. I love this couple and it was heartbreaking to see them walk away from each other.
