Hey, I just finished reading this and I wanted to say thank you for posting! It's so well crafted, I'm amazed by all the connecting details you've woven in! Don't tell but it definitely became a story I snuck my phone out in class just to read lol. Your take on Clark is inspiring and Lois is fantastic! Their dynamic feels natural and you're always pulling meanings from their actions that I didn't think of but work so well! I hope to be able to write like you one day :)

You know, I REALLY want to make some kind of fanfic-of-fanfic sequel/continuation and have been wracking my brains and bleeding my heart to produce it, but I just CAN’T. It doesn’t do your work justice!

It might take a few years and several more life experiences for me to manage something that approximates a worthy sequel fic. But by God, if I still remember in that time and I have something important to say, I’ll do it.

This is like, only the tenth time I’ve read this, and it’s never gonna lose its touch.

This fanfic is, by far, the best Superman fanfiction in existence. I scoured the internet looking for another that might just come close to this. Nothing! I’m afraid I wasted my time looking.

You actually spoiled the movie characterizations for me. I read this after watching a clip from Superman (1978), the one where Clark is introduced at the Daily Planet, and I was enthralled with the acting and found the personalities to be colorful and fascinating. Then I read your fic, and loved your Lois and Clark so much that, when after I finished and started watching more clips from throughout the movie, the movie!Lois&Clark just seemed rather cheap to me. And it’s rare for a fanfic to surpass the original like that.

Your writing is amazing. There’s so much that you say in what you don’t say.
