I haven't even made it past the 1st chapter and I'm already excited for more! Also so happy you are writing a Kimimaro fic because guy was fine and his story was so sad in Naruto and I wish he could've lived although maybe not just willingly sacrifice himself to Orochimaru

This is generally a review of the whole story or the first 35 chapters because I just read them all in one sitting. I like your characterization of Sakura a lot in this story. Even though I would never want her to touch Kabuto with anything other than a closed fist (Don't get any ideas!) I like that you have him admire and creep on her. I also liked your reintro to having Sasuke in the village because in the manga she just cries and welcomes him back and that pissed me off to high hell. Also my favorite part of this story was listening to Kiba's retelling of the Sasuke retrieval mission. And don't faint or die when I say this, but I think Kiba and Ino is actually a cute pairing! Hahahah you've converted me to like a weird ass pairing I never cared for before~ muahamuaha

Ive been following this story all those years ago when marrow still had 11 chapters. I thought it would never get updated..and then it did! Yaay! Thank you for your work. It's 6am in the goddamn morning and bloody hell you've done it again DeGlace. It's been like 2 years since I've discovered this work and I've read the whole thing so many times but could never write the perfect review detailing how much I love this fic. It's perfect- achingly perfect.

Kimmimaro's character- from the tiny glimpse we get from him in cannon is played out so perfectly in this piece- it's so spot on, so fucking real that I can barely breathe. How you captured him so in depth, way more than Kishimoto ever did okay- is just phenomenal. Sakura, my god, I can tell you I was never her biggest fan in canon but you just made her so, so, so likeable while keeping her in character- no, giving way more depths and layers in her character than cannon ever did because her characterisation in cannon had the tragic equivalent of a wet paper towel under the hands of masashi-I-can't-write-women-for-the-life-of-me-kishimoto. This is extraodinary. You are extraodinary. I cannot stress that enough.

Aside from the two main characters- everyone else, spot on. Orochimaru is creepy as usual, Kabuto Yakushi is portrayed so goddamn well in all his nuances, how he isn't evil- has his mometns of kindness, but certaintly isn't good by any means. How Utilitarian they both are. Tsunade as more than an angry drunk, Ino as more than an annoying bimbo (I would personally like to disagree on this one, but so many other fics paint her as such).

Another thing- the plot- so realistic, so believable. So in line with everyone's motivations it just seems seamless. Kidnap Sakura to heal Kimmimaro. Of course. It's just the kind of thing orochimaru would do. Why didn't Kishi think of that one. The defection, the EPIC FIGHT SCENE KIBA SPIELED HALF DEAD- just absolutely phenomenal. Also- I checked the publish date- the first chap was when I was in kindergarten. I am in second year university now. Jesus if that isn't dedication to your craft I don't know what is. I hope one day I can be half as good as you but for now I'll just have to settle for reading (not that that's really settling). You are a god at crack ships. I have converted to all of them.

I can barely keep my eyes awake rn but I just want to let you know you're really fantastic and you deserve all the reviews in the world for being so fucking brave as to write crack, and not only that- do it well, and invest in it. I don't know what I'm saying right now so I'm just going to leave this here before I embarrass myself anymore okay bye
