He may seem very rough and uncaring, but he does have his friends best interests in mind.

this is lovely and wonderful. Love how stubborn Sanzo was about the whole facing yourself issue and how you wrote. their tension was so tangible and so real. You have their characters spot on, especially Sanzo's snark and Hakkai's creepiness when displeased. Love the humor you incorporated in this as well.

I loved reading this little in-depth character discovery for Hakkai. Sanzo definitely knew what he was doing when he forced those limiters off. Sometimes a break from what you force yourself to do on a constant basis is just the prescription you need to feel better and get a grip on yourself. I will say that I would've definitely punched him too if he had lost my power limiters and forced me to suffer the way Hakkai did for weeks. This was definitely another awesome story to read from you :D

This story has been a nice mini soul-searching fic to read. You really can't get anything past Sanzo and Hakkai is lucky enough to have someone like that around to help him when he really needs it. Although I definitely would've done the same thing if he had lost my limiters after going through all that crap xD... Again, this was definitely an awesome read! :D

Oh, this story just flowed so nicely, as easy and breezy as a Covergirl ad and right now I'm really just breathless. Again, your characterizations are flawless. You've enamored me hook, line and sinker.

The story itself was wonderful: you thought up a great plot. The construction was easy to understand and deep, altogether very enjoyable.

And the end...oh. I /loved/ the end. My favorite part I think, especially when Miao notices the difference in Hakkai's demeanor. All of the Sanzo/Hakkai scenes were love (because I'm sick and twisted like that) and to conclude, this was a great work. Congratulations on a work well done!
