wow, great as usual. that's just so typical of gojyo and goku and i like this more intimate side of sanzo and hakkai (no boy love) i believe that they understand each other at that deeper level and you're playing it out nicely. looking forward to the next one!

Sugoi! The story's only two chapters in and I love it already! I love the way you portray Hakkai when he's in his Youkai form. And your summary grabbed me in,no matter how simple it was. Your writing style is wonderful and I hope to see more of this story soon!

I love getting inside Hakkai's head, and I especially like watching him and Sanzo interact - it's a nice change. It's also slightly awful to remember that Sanzo is the only human of the bunch, and if Hakkai wanted to...well. It makes me think.

Just... whoa. You have to be the best Saiyuki fanfic writer out there. So terribly jealous right now and in awe of such a wonderful story. Stunning.

Now THAT was awesome. I have been looking for a good fic all morning, and I -finally- found one. I love the direct route Sanzo takes to help Hakkai. I think I've seen a few fics where they just talk about his problems, but this makes more sense.

Also, at what point does this fic take place? I remember in the fourth volume Hakkai mentions to Chin Yisou that his friends have helped him with his masochism. Does this take place before then?

Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! In "A Dog's Life" I always loved how you wrote Hakkai. So gentle, but at the same time with such an edge. I love seeing a story centering on him.

It was a wonderful idea, and Sanzo's solution was...well...perfectly Sanzo. LOL!

All in all a wonderful one-shot that I was happy to read!

I really enjoyed this story. They are so in character as they carefully tread around an issue that has yet to be discussed, Hakkai's stability, or possible lack of. I loved Sanzo's solution and to me it not only would force Hakkai to discover, and hopefully accept, who he really is (something he has never tried to do) but also would be a practical solution for Hakkai to be able to use his stronger Youkai abilities while fighting Gyumaoh. If the recent chapters in the Manga are any indication of his strength, then Hakkai is one very powerful Youkai. After all, he defeated Goku in Seiten Taisen form. It also shows how much Sanzo trusts Hakkai's ability to keep himself together against the effects of the Minus Wave. I also love Gojyo's protectiveness and his complete understanding of how Haiia really is, that when Hakkai says he would kill himself, Gojyo fully believes he would.

I look forward to more chapters. It will be interesting to see how differently Hakkai will react to their daily routine in Youkai form, and will a week really be enough time for him to change.

finally! someone who makes hakkai take his limiters off and walk around in his own skin! you're such an arteest.
