Thank you so much for writing this story. I really like the way you handle the relationships between all of the members of the team. You also demonstrated a great grasp of some of the other members of the expedition at the end (people can be so juvenile, can't they). Also, I can really sympathize with Rodney and Sheppard in this story. Once, in a terrible ice-related incident (and by terrible, I mean terribly embarrassing), I broke my coccyx and got a concussion at the same time. That was not much fun. That said, I don't really remember the incident in its entirety but I have heard many accounts of it from people present at the time and will never again wear treadless shoes in winter. Lastly, I really want to get a good crab salad now. Thank you again for all the work you put into entertaining us geeky sorts. :)

This was great...and it'd make a wonderful episode...

Excellent story, as usual. Couldn't stop reading - obviously, since I fished it so quickly. Loved the way you described the desolated atmosphere on the planet. And the solution for the population's mysterious disappearance - didn't see that coming at all, although you mentioned 'Condemned' in you Author's Notes.

What's so great in all your stories is how you make the Pegasus galaxy come to life, both in terms of legends and fauna and flora. How can you dream up all these names for lobsters etc? (Which really creeped me out, by the way!)

Hope you don't mind if I also mention one very small criticism? Although I really enjoy it how you give Teyla the attention she deserves (and doesn't get in the show) I found the scene where she carries Ronon out of the building rather unbelievable. No matter how strong she is, I can't see how she'd be able to build up the leverage to pick up somebody who's probably more than twice her weight. And for me - and this is just my opinion - making her out as some kind of super woman distracts from rather than adds to her character's strength and resourcefulness.

Sorry for being so nit-picky, but like I said, your story make a movie roll in my mind, and I just could not picture that scene. The lobsters crawling all over John, on the other hand... *shudders*

Cool story and I love lobster; just not the idea of one wanting me for a snack. I enjoyed this story and actually I am glad you did not kill off all the townsfolk and did kill the guilty ones as they deserved.

Don't know why it took me so long to discover this story, but it's another good one! You do a lovely job of whumping my dear Rodney. Although, I have to say I really felt for John. I fell down a flight of stairs a few years ago and fractured my tailbone and wow, did that hurt! For several weeks! With occasional aches lasting for months!
