I just love this chapter. Heck, I've loved every chapter. From the way you've described Hakkai's slow descent into madness to the beauty with which you describe every battle, everything about this entire story has been practically perfect. In this chapter, I especially love the bit about "names" and how you managed to use that to make such interesting comparisons between the characters, the type that really get me thinking. Keep up the great work.

Y'know I read this like a week ago and at the time I coulnd't think of what to say and now ever a week later I'm still clueless as to what to say to you. This was such an amazing chapter and such an amazing fanfic. I'm so very in love with it really. I think that if you didn't mention that there was going to be a sequel I might have been in tears! I want the sequel so bad! I want to know what happens! I think the feeling I have now waiting for the sequel is the same I've had for waiting for the rest volume of Reload to come out! I really can't wait! I hope you get it up soon! This really was an amazing fanfic! I'm going to end up reading if over and over again! It was so good! yes a sequel! as i was reading this chapter i was like omg theres no way this is the last chapter it can't be. unless... theres a sequel! omigosh as usual i love the way you write! this story was just awesome. i loved gojyo and sanzo in this chapter they were perfect really, you kept them in character so well and i loved the was they interacted with eachother. this had got to be one of the number one saiyuki stories on this site right now. and i can't wait for the sequel i'll be looking for it!

The part between Sanzo and Goku just before Yoane came, brought tears to my eyes :'(

W.O.W that was about the MOST unexpected ending ever! never would i have thought that this story would end like that! hah but im definitely pleased that the update came so quickly :D and yay! a sequel! guess id have to look out for that too yea. love the little plot details in the chapter and the descriptions of gojyo's pain was just oh-so vivid and about perfect for visualisation purposes. thanks for writing such an AWESOME story with an AWESOME ending :P hope to see more stories soon!

Awesome job, Nymphy! Really nice chapter and a truly evil (but in a good way) cliffhanger. And it's also proof that our minds work in similar ways. I've had a scene planned for ages in TToC where Sanzo a cigarette in an exhausted Gojyo's mouth and lights it for him. Though it's one of Gojyo's own hi-lites.
